The best house ever!!

It's not just location but that is a great start. 5 Bedrooms, 2 of which have lofts so this place sleeps a lot of people. Electric and wifi was spot on, beautiful property and pool, plus an entrance on the lagoon. Kitchen has a a 6 burner wolf stove and oven, and is fully appointed. Any chef would be happy here for the duration, and for those of us that clean up, the dishwasher comes in very handy! Property is maintained by Miguel and his wife, there is ample seating inside and out. I rented Casa Azul Riviera for a fashion shoot for "Maya Resort Beachwear Collection" and we had great support for the designer, models, and assistants. There are enough different locations to shoot here so we would not have had to leave for any reason. But we did. It is close to Playa de Carmen where we took the ferry to Cozumel and had dinner. The Scuba Diving was great! Octopus day and night! There is great food and other shopping nearby as well as restaurants on and off the beach. It is close to cenotes, the beach, and not too far from ruins. I will have this location as the prime location for clients that need to film or shoot in the tropics.

Casa Azul is a amazing Villa in Akumal. 4 Bedrooms 3 King beds, children's bedroom has a Full bed(2 ensuite), 3 full Bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms (the ensure rooms) have large loft areas with 2 twin beds in each loft. The house is set up wonderfully for a family or large group. The property outside is great for entertaining or just relaxing in a hammock, sitting by the pool, enjoying the fountain in the courtyard, ducking the sun in the roofed pavilion (this place begs for a dinner party or special event). You have private access to Yal Ku Lagoon, and a smaller isolated lagoon on the property. The kitchen has a 6 burner Wolf commercial stove and oven, Large refrigerator with icemaker and water (purified source, of course), dishwasher and enough pots/pans, silverware, plates,storage containers,knives and cooking tools to open your own restaurant! Miguel & Lecia are the caretakers and cooks if you desire. They do an excellent job keeping it spotless, and are a great point of contact for all things Mayan, plus any adventures you need a recommendation on. All and all a great experience, and a lovely upscale home. Parking in the driveway, safe and secure

We were originally to stay at another Villa and were moved to this villa. It met our needs overall and the outside space is wonderful. The pool was large and clean and the lagoon was wonderful. The cenote was really gross and smelled really bad. Loved the home overall!

Great home that perfectly fit our large family of 10! Pool and lagoon were wonderful and the caretaker and family were lovely. They made a fabulous Yucatan dinner for us and were always available when needed. Fully equipped kitchen with a huge gourmet stove/oven. Decorated in traditional Mexican original decor. A/C in bedrooms worked wonderfully, but was a bit warm in living room and kitchen. A few more standing fans would be great for the summer months. Fabulous outdoor palapa with lights to enjoy the evening! You are in the jungle, so be prepared for pests, but they have a helpful mosquito zapper outside. Just remember to clean up your kitchen and floors regularly. Overall, a WIN!!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
