Casa Ceiba Condominio - 40880 Zihuatanejo

Some real pros & cons to staying at Casa Ceiba, I stayed here for 3 weeks with my partner and young son. Pros: * Location is excellent, easy to walk to El Centro & playa la madera, Easy to catch a taxi or combi to playa la ropa or las gatas * Staff keep the place running smoothly & are quick to resolve any issues * Pool is fantastic, landscaping is tastefully done with plenty of big trees & shrubs * Apartments are spacious * Noise level is low in relation to location in city Cons: * Clientele - 27 units total, 95% filled by an elderly, retired, monolingual expat contingent who spend the bulk of every single day sitting by the pool. Although mostly friendly, there will be nonstop complaining about any noise over library volume from children. If you fall below the 65+ age range, really consider your options before booking * Privacy - all units face inwards to pool / common area. Several ground floor units will be easily looked into * Internet - some apartments have own router, others share a router. You don't want to share a router if you expect to get anything done on the internet * I can't speak to other apartments, but ours (#16) was a little run down, I requested 5+ repairs during our stay, some happened & some didn't
