5/5 based on 8 reviews
Welcome to Casa de Olé, your very own beach paradise in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico! This stunning, colorful, mosaic-filled delight sits directly on one of the most glorious white sandy beaches in Puerto Peñasco. It is tucked in the quiet, family-oriented and gated community of Playa La Jolla. The 4 BR/4 BA home with a separate 1 BR/ 1 BA guest house includes the domestic services of Karla, who is the housekeeper and chef for the property. Each morning, she shops in town for the freshest ingredients (and any misc supplies you might need), then comes out to the house, cleans up as necessary, and then prepares your lunch and dinner menu selections from her expansive menu. Many people have said her cooking is the best they have ever tasted in Puerto Peñasco! You simply reimburse her each day for the cost of what she prepares for you. It's all very easy and elegant!

This place is amazing. I can't wait to go back. Great beach for kids, too. The low tide provided fun tiny sea creatures to find and the accommodations were super well done. The owner put a lot of high quality work into this place and it shows. Carla, the cook was awesome, too. Food was delicious, super convenient and very well priced.

A beautiful and peaceful place! My family had planned a sibling reunion coming from various parts of the country. Five of us with spouses and partners, a total of 10. We had not all been together since our mother past away several years ago and searched and explored many places in the US. Finally we settled on Casa de Ole and were not disappointed. The process took over a year and communication from the manager was exceptional. All our questions were addressed and answered. Upon arrival, there was a binder on the coffee table that had information about the house, the area, and emergency numbers. After arriving, we enjoyed many peacful walks along the private beach which was so beautiful. The patio had a spectacular view, a favorite place to settle for coffee in the morning, lounging during the day, and wine and conversation in the evening at the fire pit. One morning 6 of us went on a fishing trip arranged by the manager which was a lot of fun and enjoyable. The town was about 30 minutes away, Malacon. Fun restsurants and shopping. Karla, our cook, was a gem. We gave her a menu the day prior and she would shop in the morning and bring receipts for reimbursement. The food was amazing,! When we were eating lunch we were also excited about dinner. Some of us gained a few pounds. We gave her a much deserved generous tip on the last day. All of us hated to leave. Casa de Ole was such a special place for our family where we reconnected and made many unforgettable memories. We definitely plan to return again.

Casa de Olé is a true gem! We have been going to Rocky Point for years, but our family (kids and grand kids) are growing in number, and we needed a larger setting. We found it! Casa de Olé was the perfect house for our family of 13. The mosaics and colorful interior were beautiful. The house is stunning and well maintained, in a safe gated community, and the setting is absolutely fabulous. Bill called us the first evening to make sure everything was going well and was so helpful. Karla's cooking is awesome and she was very flexible and easy to work with. And did I mention the setting?! This beach is much more private than Sandy Beach (north of the town) and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We spent four days walking the beautiful white sand beach, building sand castles, boogy boarding, kayaking (We saw dolphins!), playing wiffle ball and frisbee on the beach, reading from the deck while looking out on the ocean, and just generally taking a deep breath at the stunning setting. Bill and Cat have done a fabulous job with this home in a perfect setting. We have already booked it for next year!

We had the best experience with Casa de Ole! The home was beautiful and we spent most of our time outside on the beach. Karla made the vacation complete with delicious food and grocery shopped for us- she even go a birthday cake for my son. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic! Pre-Thanksgiving get-away, no crowds, still warm enough to swim, kayak, sun bathe, massages were magnificent, incredible pelican feeding show (from the beach and feet from our kayak), spectacular sunsets. Personal favorites were evening visits around the patio fire and reading outside to the sound of ocean waves. Karla cooked up magic for us: chile rellenos, beef barbacoa, her beans! the limonada! the salsa and guac! Plus hueovos rancheros! All of it amazing authentic Mexican not to be missed. A little further out than we expected but still close enough to explore town which we did a couple of times. The house was clean and comfortable, the color, the charm, the tile, the dome, everything was excellent. Communication super. Arrival and entry seamless. Highly recommend. 11/10!
