★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed three nights at Casa Friday and really enjoyed it. It is a hand full of deatached cabins around a leafy yard with hammocks and swings. Cabin had a bog bedroom, ensuite and large livingroom with kitchen. Everything was very clean, and cleaned daily. Perfect place to stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice enough place to stay, but it is a little rough around the edges... The garden pathway between the apartments is nice enough, but bits of trash and other things detract from the beauty. And behind the apartments there is too much trash, broken glass and other things scattered around... I know that this is a primitive, rustic town but these places should be setting the example for the rest of the residents, not imitating them...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since this was out last days of our backpacking trip, we excerpted a calm and peaceful place to relax. Unfortunately our expectations for that accommodation were not met. The pictures did not reflect correctly the reality, the neighbor hood was quite noisy and we got lots of mosquito bites. We expected someone to welcome us but instead we only had a piece of paper. Nevertheless we enjoyed the kitchen and the bathroom products. Holbox is a beautiful island that is definitely worth to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa Frida has lovely apartments. There's A lot lot of room inside and good beds. A fantastic shower! And great staff. Just 3 minutes away from downtown and the beach. We booked 2 extra nights after our first 2. Definitely recommend Casa Frida.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced, basic kitchen with a basic camping hob that wasn't entirely safe. Low water pressure (common problem on the island, but considering the price!)
Outside space limited. Small garden where you had 2 share 2 swings and a hammock with 7 other rooms.
We did sleep well with little noise considering what a racket of late nite partying and traffic in the centre. This was the only plus as the location was quiet but nearby everything. I wouldn't recommend Isla Holbox in general. Casa Frida was basic and overpriced but we slept reasonably well.
