The house was clean and exactly what we saw in the photos. Perfect located, beach is walking distance. Safe and relaxed place to stay. Definitely I recommended this house to stay.

the house is amazing. it's beautiful and well maintained. it is exactly as you see in the pictures and probably even better. here's the scoop. i live in NYC and have spent a holiday or spring break in christmas with family and friends. we normally go to Sayulita of San Pedro (the west coast); this year we decided to try the east coast. i tell you all that to tell you, i didn't expect the house to be in a gated community. that means, mostly white folks not natives. that's not a bad thing, just wasn't expecting that. getting to the beach: means walking through or past the omni hotel. you don't have immediate access to the beach. you gotta walk a bit. and it's not really my type of beach. too crowded for me (i can safely say i'm partial to Sayulita). if you want a beach chair - you can pay the hotel for a pass (which gives you booze and food) or you can find a space where the public is allowed. none of this was explained when we booked the house. food: you are super close to three places - like a 5 minute walk. One of the closest - La Caleta (next to the boat ramp) is actually really good. we had chefs come a few days and we did take out from restaurants at the harbor. plenty of great food. nightlife: there are bars at the restaurants in the harbor. this complex is dominated by the golf course and the all inclusive resorts. you can get into some of the resorts. some you can't. because they are all inclusive. skip them and just hang at the harbor. nightlife at the casa jaguar: the pool and patio is great, but the house is right on the golf course and the course has two obstacles - that are ponds of water - mosquito breeding grounds. boy did i get bit. there is bug spray, but i still got tore up. bad. they should get a bug zapper. the hot tub: is for one person. don't think you are gonna have a party on the roof. the tub is nice, but small. and you can literally set your watch to it - i did - it takes 20 minutes to fill. the bedrooms are spacious and awesome and each have their own AC units. our housekeeper, who comes everyday, was great. perfect. i managed to steal someone's mexican netflix account to watch tv, but forget using the tvs. i don't think there is AC in the main living area. the kitchen as a unit though. oh, if you plan to leave the complex, you will need a car, obviously, and i'm glad we did, we went to Xplore with was amazing, but i would have been just as happy if not happier going nowhere and just using a golf cart to get around - everyone else is. oh, the pool. is not heated. and in december, was really chilly to get in. if you want to swim. you will want to head to the beach. the water is very warm there.
