Beautifully appointed in classic Mayan style with a cheeky hint of Canadiana, this conveniently located two story vacation rental boasts a lovely yard including an immaculate swimming pool, outdoor shower, and tons of beautiful local flora. My stay here was restful to say the least. This is a recently built structure that is clean, bright, spacious, and equip with everything you will need on your Tulum holiday. Located in close walking distance to the heart of Tulum, you will find a copious amount of restaurants and shops to indulge your senses, while feeling a real sense of privacy and independence. The professionalism and kindness of both the owner and property manager was first class. The location of the Casa is perfect for walking anywhere in Tulum town. The pool and air conditioners were fantastic. Full size refrigerator, blender, and coffee maker was all we used regarding the kitchen. There are just too many places to eat for any budget close by. We rented a car and there is parking directly in front of the Casa. Safe, real deal Mexican neighborhood. Would book again. Mark and Marilyn K. 02/16/19 thru 02/23/19.

This place is so cute. When we first booked, we had the top level but were told we must rebook the bottom floor because there are three of us. We never saw the top floor but either way, we’re glad we did! Paul met us onsite to give us the tour and the key. The pool was amazing, perfect temperature and very private. We were the only ones on the property which was perfect. We swam in the pool everyday, every night. The couch was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. This place is super far from the beach if you don’t have a car, so definitely don’t book it for that. It is, however, close to town and an easy walk to the best taco stands and shopping. It was hard to leave! We would definitely stay again!

Casa Kanuk is what we expected and more. It was centrally located to restaurants, shopping and night life in Tulum. My husband and I spent 4 days with our 3 adult children. They had the basement unit and we had upstairs with plenty of room for all. The private pool is incredible. It is perfect temperature day and night and we spent hours in it every day. There are hammocks and a swinging chair to hang outside. Inside there is great air conditioning that is as cold as you like it. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of fresh bottled water. The place was extremely clean and comfortable for our family and we believe it is a hidden secret in Tulum. If you rent a car, walk to town for food and shopping as we really enjoyed our time walking the streets of Tulum day and night and found some great homemade tortillas, fresh churros, food trucks along the streets, and other cool stuff just walking around. This was a hi-light of our trip. We would definitely come back to Casa Kanuk and recommend to our friends.

WOW!!! What a beautiful house! It is EXACTLY what you see in the pictures. We loved that it was in an actual neighborhood. Everyone was extremely friendly. The house was in a perfect location (walking distance to town and the Palma Central Food Truck Park). You've got to go there, so very tasty! The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. We really appreciated that you even supplied drinking water! The pool was our favorite part of course! We lived in that thing! My kids really enjoyed the hammocks and swing. We would 100% stay there again. Thanks so much!

Casa Kanuk was the hub of our Tulum adventures and what a wonderful home! Firstly it had a great Mexican vibe to the decor, a large pool, gorgeous second floor deck, and 3 different palapa covered hang out areas by the pool. Air conditioning in every bedroom (a god send for me), high band wifi, and a central location for all of the things we wanted to do. Beach, shop, restaurants, cenotes, ruins… The food truck park is a block away with many food options and entertainment, and groceries are close by. When you have a peaceful, beautiful, safe place to come home to every day, it really makes your holiday relaxing. I recommend Casa Kanuk to my people, and to other people’s people. tBone

The owner and hosts was amazing, very communicative, helpful, and made sure my stay went smooth and safe. Parking right infront of the house. The pool is definitely relaxing especially having the whole upstairs apartment to myself, I felt very comfortable. The AC was perfect after an long day of activities in the hot sun. Restaurants nearby, but renting a car is your best bet because it is quick and easy to get to where you need to be. Traffic and driving was not bad at all, considering i live in Atlanta, Georgia. Upstairs apartment shower is to die for !! Amazing experience and will definitely book again for the next time i visit!
