Casa Melissa - Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit

This is our second stay at Casa Melissa and we plan to go back every year. Working with Melissa is effortless. She is so accommodating and really cares about the experience at her house. The building is just wonderful and it has all the amenities. The infinity pool is fabulous, and the views are stunning, especially while playing tennis on the ocean view tennis court. Yeyo and Francis are exceptional cooks. We had them make 3 meals for us and the food just got better and better! Iris, the property manage is very helpful and stocked the refrigerator with our pre ordered groceries. Casa Melissa is the perfect place to vacation during this pandemic as you never need to leave the property!

Casa Melissa is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, beautiful time in the sun. It’s a wonderful private home, fully stocked, with the most fantastic view from almost every room in the house. The infinity pool is perfect and the patio is shaded. Iris manages the property and she is available to answer any questions you may have. She can also purchase groceries for you and your refrigerator will be stocked and waiting upon your arrival. San Pancho town is a 20-25 min walk away with nice restaurants, and is a quieter feeling town than Sayulita, which is a short cab ride away if you want more excitement. This is our second visit and it surely won’t be our last.

I cannot recommend Casa Melissa enough. It was the perfect getaway. The pool overlooking the ocean was more than I could hope for, and even more perfect than the pictures portrayed. The town of San Pancho, a short walk on the beach or on a bumpy but sweet road, is charming and has anything one needs for a mellow get away; great restaurants and a beautiful beach. If you want more action, Sayulita is a short cab ride away, though I found that I preferred the speed of San Pancho. Casa Melissa is stocked with everything you need, is private, and even the tennis court is well maintained. Everything was super clean and the staff was incredibly helpful and on top of any needs.

I have rented Casa Melissa for 10 years. I love the house, the location and the lovely local family that manages it. Melissa is a responsive owner and has been regularly improving the house with furnishings and/or updates every year. It's a joy to come back "home" to Casa Melissa year after year with my lifelong friends to enjoy lazy days by the pool and sunsets with cocktails and home cooked meals or a visit to our favorite places in town. There isn't a more spectacular location on the Nayarit coast. We love Casa Melissa.

Wonderful vacation rental house! Casa Melissa was the perfect place to stay during our recent vacation to Mexico. Just outside San Pancho and minutes from Sayulita, it provided a quiet place to get away with easy access to great beaches, restaurants, and shops. The owners helped us arrange groceries and other supplies for our stay which was very helpful. There are four bedrooms in the main house and another in the detached guest house; plenty of room for a group, but still comfortable for just a couple of people. We spent much of our time in the pool enjoying the scenery and watching the various wildlife, including wales, bring some good binoculars. We never found time to play tennis but will during our next stay; we will be going back. Reliable internet allowed us to stay in touch with home and was fast enough for our young daughter to stream some of her favorite shows; only after she tired of the pool. We appreciated the full house water filtration even though there is also bottled water available. If you are looking for a great place to stay in a beautiful location then look no further, this should be your next vacation destination.

Wow! Casa Melissa is a truly one of kind house. It is incredibly well kept and the views are wonderful. The layout of the property is great for a family group and kids. The pool was heated which made it ideal for enjoying the sunsets. The Tennis Court we used for Pickle Ball which was a blast. A golf cart is recommended to make trips to town quicker. We used a chef named Jerry who prepared us yummy meals which I would highly recommend for breakfast and dinner. We can't wait to return!

I absolutely loved Casa Melissa for my family getaway this past December. It was the perfect home for our family of 4. The pool overlooking the ocean is amazing, the views are unreal. The town of San Pancho, has great restaurants a very mellow vibe and a fun beach. If you want more action, Sayulita is a short ride away, though I preferred the speed of San Pancho. Casa Melissa is well stocked, very private, centrally located and a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home away from home. The staff was incredibly helpful and on top of any needs. I cannot recommend it enough. The sunsets were amazing!

Casa Melissa was the perfect place to vacation. The house is fantastic, the service was excellent. We had a wonderful experience there. The beds were quite comfortable. We saw 43 different species of birds in the property.
