Amazing place! Great food, extremely friendly staff (talking to you Manuel haha), 5 star service all around! The view, the beach, the villa itself! Everything was perfection!

Awesome place for vacation - the house, very friendly staff, incredibile beach. We've been at Casa Rubia for New Year 2018 celebration, four families with kids, 16 people in total. Our stay was 10 days. It would have been a perfect stay if during the night of 31th of december we haven't been robbed. Someone entered the house and stolen money and goods of many thousands dollars. The thief even entered a room where two kids were sleeping! This was possible because the house has no security measure: it is placed on the beach, very isolated, it has no fence of any kind, it has no safe boxes and the locks of the room doors are the same kind of bathroom locks - jokes. The rooms doesn't have windows, just mosquito nets and sun shutters with no lock. It's a very expensive property, waiting wide open for the thiefs. The administrators told us that this never happened and that's why the security was very poor. I don't think this is a valid argument. They called the police because of our wish and tried to minimalise the facts. We asked them to think at some sort of compensation for beeing robbed on their property but the only answer was that the insurance doesn't cover this situation and they are sorry. We paid a full stay at the rate card and stayed for the rest of the vacation with the kids in rooms and chairs in doors. Be aware!
