★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casamar was the best experience during our vacations. Casamar is not like any other hotels, it literally makes you feel home with their incorporated kitchen in all rooms. Very humble and friendly staff, will definitely come back here for my next trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you for the wonderful stay. We were here for 4. Nights in the off season and enjoyed the pool, free coffee and ability to cook in the room as well as outside in the shared kitchen area. There were hammocks to lay in yoga offered twice a week for 100 pesos per class and a very very well maintained inner courtyard to soak up the sun in. The restaurant was open from about 8-16 and air-conditioning in the rooms is available for an extr 150 pesos a night. I would suggest this. Otherwise make sure you check out the crows nest on the 4/5th floor with the view of the surrounding area. It's quite spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place run by great people! Clean, beautiful garden and pool, the owner Will treats guests very well. Close to la Punta which is a tranquil beach village with plenty of good food and a great surf break , although the the rocks are sharp!

Will (the owner) and his staff are super helpful and friendly. The community is also very positive, with dinners and movie nights for guests as well as yoga and other activities. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little hotel just a couple minutes walk from the the liveliest street (“the strip”) in Puerto Escondido. Beautiful grounds with a pool set in a hacienda courtyard, super friendly staff (Flora gave us great recs, lent us an umbrella!), and quaint rooms equipped with a balcony and kitchen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We a family of 6 really enjoyed our stay in Casamar Suites - a real gem. We had a fully equipped apartment but at the same time enjoyed the full service of an hotel (e.g. pool, daily yoga classes, coffee bar, room cleaning,...). In addition it is right in La Punta, the nicest part of Puerto Escondido. In total we extended our stay to almost 5 weeks.

It combines some of the benefits of an AirBnB/VRBO (kitchen, not feeling like you're in a little box of a generic hotel room) with the ease of a hotel -- but it has a lot more quirky personality than a hotel. Easy walk to main drag in La Punta and to the beach.
