We waited 3 hours for lunch only to be told that the kitchen had forgotten to prepare our food. The only silver lining is that the lack of food resulted in me getting closer to my birth weight. I will never return.

T	Tom Allegretti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an awful experience dining here for my friend's 40th Birthday. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entree meals. Only the drinks and appetizers arrived. After 2 hours, the server asked if we were done. When we asked where our entree was, the manager said they can expedite our meal in the kitchen as it wasn't put in correctly, however, we were already late with our boat rental. Also when we arrived, we were told our reservation for 13 people could only sit at one table instead of combining 2 together, so we fit 13 people at a table normally for 8. The restaurant was also empty when we arrived. Poor service and hospitality. I would highly recommend going to the other ocean beach club down the coast instead of going here.

They offer us a refund and 2 extra nights for our next stay and it is already 7 months!!! since they cancel our reservation and we didn't get our refund yet. We have been calling and texting with Lilly and all the times different answers. Seems a beautiful place but I don't recommend you book here, not trustable!!

The beach isn't usually crowded so it's a nice place to hang. I might also mention that there are lots of Iguanas. Honestly, this place feels like paradise! ?

It's truly the epitome of paradise at Maraika. The service was top notch and very personable and accommodating. Luis was gracious enough to give us a tour of the 'casitas' and wow wow wow! The way this place is decorated and laid out will blow your mind!! Like, how is it this awesome. We will be back for sure, to stay, to celebrate, or just to visit our old friend, Luis
