No permiten pasar a ver las áreas verdes. Y los animalitos que están en la parte de atrás.... Recomiendo pasen a misa de 10 hay un coro de niños que anenizen la misa.... Nuestro gran Santuario del Señor de la Cuevitas "Catedral del Señor de la Cuevitas" actualmente, es hermoso este recinto muy amplio, con las medidas sanitarias al día, visite lo y conozcan sus grandes pinturas e imágenes que representan nuestras creencias ante Dios, espacio para acomodarse para escuchar misas a diferentes horarios, vengan a visitar al Señor de la Cuevitas es hermoso....la historia comenzó como por el año de 1,700 más o menos traían a Jesús a restaurarlo de su carita de Oaxaca...pero ahí donde lo dejaron desapareció y lo encontraron en la Cuevitas y que se puso muy pesado y no podían moverlo hasta realizaban misas para poder llevárselo sus dueños....entonces de ahí decidieron levantar este recinto que ahora es nuestro bendito Santuario de Iztapalapa, con la promesa de los pobladores de cada año representar la pasión de Jesucristo crucificado, bueno hay tanto que conocer de este lugar y sus alrededores de Iztapalapa...yo se los recomiendo???

Cuenta la leyenda que una peregrinación venia del interior del país (Oaxaca) y las personas decidieron descansar y dormir en el Cerro de la Estrella, al día siguiente al querer continuar su trayecto, ya no pudieron levantar la imagen del Señor del Santo Sepulcro, el peso de la imagen fue demasiado que decidieron dejarla ahí, la imagen desapareció por algunos días y fue localizada en una cueva, en aquellos años Iztapalapa sufría de una pandemia de cólera y los pobladores acudieron a la cueva para pedirle al Santo que detuviera la pandemia y así sucedió, en honor al Santo, decidieron construir una iglesia y celebrar cada año una representación que hasta hoy sigue vigente "La pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesucristo"; con el tiempo la iglesia se convirtió en Catedral y los habitantes de Iztapalapa desde que construyeron la iglesia, la conocen como El Señor de la Cuevita.
