It was dirty and there were a lot of mosquitoes, even bees, not recommended to carry small children, dangerous stairs.

Easy to get to, the road is somewhat narrow. The waters are murky and at least when I went there was no one else. Good place to think calmly. If you're not afraid: 3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place isn't even enabled as a cenote. Nobody is maintaining the place, the road seems to lead to a pit full of corpses. And there's hornets all over the place. Come close if you are looking for a big disappointment and want to be frightened by the locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful of the beaten track cenote. You need to take a narrow dirt road for about 1 KM but we found it well worth it. Super quiet, plenty of wildlife: bats, bees, lot's of different birds and we even saw a huge owl! (Ce)note: not for swimming.
