★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the whole fried fish, it was cooked perfectly, crispy outside, moist and flaky inside. Great service, good prices

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learned about the beach location outside of Akumal and Tulum. Went down a long and bumpy road to learn it was closed but their location in Tulum was opened. I heard the fish was amazing so we trekked 20 minutes to Tulum and enjoyed the fried fish, lobster and steak combo and my son had a hamburger with fries and the side salad he said it all was “delicious.” He actually ate the side salad. He is 6.
The location is off the beaten path in the direction of the beach/hotel zone but way before it. This is a locals spot for sure. Everything in Spanish. No one speaks English. Look at the pictures, check the Google guide for other reviews on items to order and point of your Spanish isn’t the best. Was it good? Let me just say I’ve been eating fried fish as my entree while in Mexico since this experience. My partner enjoyed the lobster but said it was small for the price but the steak was good. We would definitely visit again because of the food (I really mean fish), service and price.
When I describe service know that the food is fresh and hot. Give the server time to place your order, serve other customers and for the chef to make it. It will be delicious but be patient. Between appetizers and the chips and pico (so tasty by the way), we occupied our time talking as a family about our day and planning our events for the next day. Enjoy Tulum. Stay safe. Wear a mask. Tip.
Street parking available.
I hope you find this review helpful. If so, give me a thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic Mayan mariscos!! The octopus was the most tender I've ever had and the agua chiles rojo was delicious and not over the top spicy. One of our best meals in Tulum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious fish. We ordered so much food and only had good things to say. Staff was incredibly friendly and gave us free shots during our bachelorette celebrations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best seafood restaurants in Tulum. Do you still have a second location at the beach but that has been permanently shut down.
Ceviche and fried fish are there specialty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is decent, but prices are pretty high. We paid 200 MXN for fried fish that was wayyyyy too salty. Chips and salsas were good. Service was excellent. For the price though, I don't think it was worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They used to have another location on Soliman bay that was how we knew about them. We love their ceviche, best one we found so far. We tried el camello Jr (supposed to be more popular) but to our opinion was not better, maybe cheaper. When we came to Champions today, they asked us if we want our ceviche sea food cooked on the stove or with lime juice. That was the right question for us because we like ours cooked with lime juice. Our ceviche came out perfect, the seafoods were fresh, sweet and tender. Their tortilla chips were also freshly made. We usually also get the fried fish that came with a bit of bean, rice and tortilla. We add guacamole and salsa to make the kids fish taco which they like.we bought our food Togo but we would totally eat there too. Their restaurant looks nice and clean. They have a little play area for small kids. And looks like they also have a room with AC if people prefer.
