Hotel Mesón del Marqués - 97780 Valladolid

Great place to stay at the heart of Valladolid. Authentic atmosphere and furniture, good service, big parking and pretty good breakfast. I recommend the restaurant for dinner, it looks like a real colonial hacienda garden!

A well located hotel with large comfortable rooms and a beautiful restaurant. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was friendly. Unfortunately the other room doors made a huge amount of noise closing so it was not especially peaceful in our room at night.

Not recommended especially because the quality doesn’t match the price. Good: Location is super good, in the center of the town. Bad: Amenities are poor. There is a bar in the hotel but they don’t have a license to sell alcohol: minus 1 star We booked with breakfast included but we can only choose one meal (I think it was called Mexican breakfast). Since I’m vegetarian I asked them if they have a vegetarian option they said I can choose something vegetarian in the menu and pay the difference which is 20 or 30 pesos. When to pay, they charged me 100 pesos claiming that I had to pay the services. Minus 2 stars.

We were extremely comfortable at this hotel. The staff is very welcoming and are very attentive. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed staying here and would stay here again if we are ever in Valladolid. However, the restaurant and the rooftop bar is totally over priced and totally overrated. The food is not at all special. It is the same quality food you receive on a big hotel chain. The rooftop bar is totally over priced and have bland flavors. They wont even sit you if you do not order. They make you feel like it is an exclusive place that is unreachable. We did not have a reservation but after insisting they sat us up there. 6 out of 30 tables were only full. I dont get what the fuss is about.

Very good hotel with excellent staff. Smiley and helpful. Our room was near the pool. The pool is a bit cold but when the Temps are high is very cool. The only negative that I didn't check before I book is the lack of a fridge in the room.

A beautiful hotel. The must see part is the roof terrace - access via the lift to level 4 which gives you a stunning view across the main centre of the city. The restaurant has a quaint internal courtyard with a water fountain and plenty of flowers and plants. It’s picturesque. The service is top notch and the food isn’t bad either. Not the best but good enough. Well worth having a drink or meal at and one place you should definitely visit if you’re in Valladolid.

Our stay for 2 nights was wonderful. I really enjoyed the service from the front desk and the restaurant, you will feel well taken care of here. The room was sanitized and clean, and everyone working was professional. The beds were comfortable. I missed when booking my room that it was one queen and one twin, so be more observant when booking than I was if you need a true double. The restaurant is scenic, with exceptional art work. And the breakfast packages have great coffee, fresh squeezed juice, and some bread with butter and jam as a complement to your meal. I really enjoyed the huevos motulenos!!

Lovely hotel in a great location. Check in was easy and pleasant, staff were very accommodating as we were a bit early for the 3 o’clock check in. They suggested we park our car and enjoy some sights until our room was ready, even offered us a glass of fruit juice. This charming hotel is very nicely set up for a few days in beautiful Valladolid. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have all the basics you need. The dining room is really pretty in a centre courtyard, there is a pool side bar and a roof top bar as well. We found the food was very good and the prices fair. The location right on the historic Centro square can’t be beat and it offers parking, which is a huge bonus in a downtown location. Our room had private terraces just outside our door, overlooking the cool roof top patio, our balcony was pool side. The rooms are situated in such a way that it feels like a small boutique style hotel but actually has over 80 rooms. The house keeping staff were really good, our room was very clean and everything was restocked on our second morning.
