We had so much fun learning about the Mayan way of cooking. The workshop’s setup is wonderful. We’ve visited with our 6 year old son and a baby and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious! After the class we went for a swim in the local cenote near the place. A perfect day. We highly recommend.

A W E S O M E ! Great experience, the food, the stories, the cooking methods, the ingredients, the recipes… we had an amazing time learning from the region and tradition. And of course, eating the authentic Cochinita Pibil.

A real joy to experience Rosalia's cooking and smile after watching her on Netflix. I love cochinita pibil and make it at home (not in a pit oven but in a pressure cooker). Rosalia's is one of the best I've had (mine pales in comparison). I have never tried relleno negro before and surprisingly, I liked it even more than the cochinita (I need to find recado negro paste back home). Chef Claudia was our co-host and translator. She really made the experience all the more enjoyable. Her English is great and she's funny, enthusiastic and engaging.

We've had Cochinita in places ranging from our hotel to recommended restaurants in Merida and Valladolid, but none compare to the flavors we experienced with Chef Rosalia. The experience was phenomenal. Our kids truly enjoyed visiting and having a real perspective of such an ancient culture. Thank you for such a welcoming experience!

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Now that that is out of the way for some who think this is a restaurant, we can move on. Chef Rosalía is quite a special person with a humble and adorable personality. The cultural experience you'll receive, in addition to an amazing meal, is one of a kind. The history of Mayan food is explained. The ingredients used and the quality of the food is simple incredible. What a fortunate experience.

It was the highlight of my food trip in Mexico. The ancient Mayan cooking totally opened my eyes and the best Cochinita Pibil tacos cooked by Chef Rosalia and her family were the absolute best. I hired a car service from Tulum beach to Chef Rosalia’s which took 3 hours each way and I can say it again and again that it was so worth it! You must do it if you visit Mexico!

Amazing food and great experience. Of course you have to book in advance and appreciate the fact you can live this experience in a small group. The host was also great and gave made this to a great succes together with the chef and her family.
