★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first Mayo settlement visit. I popped in during a cycle tour as it was only 500m from the main road. 50 peso to get in and good value as the ruins are impressive and quite well preserved. Each building had a sign in English and Spanish explaining what it was. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large site with a nice route around the 5 or 6 buildings; there were not many people so it is quite charming.
In comparison to Balamku roughly have an hour West we would recommend Balamku if you do not have enaugh time to visit both

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Xpujil only a 10 min drive, and when you are there you will find 3 beautiful temples with a lot of details.
The nice thing about this complex is that it's not that crowded with tourist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet and beautiful. Doable with a wheelchair since there is a smooth dirt access road straight to the ruins. Once there, you can get around on the dirt, grass, or the somewhat bumpy paths connecting the different buildings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful and magical. It is like you lost in time! We got there at 3.30 pm and there was nobody else. Beautiful details. So well-preserved. You need at least 2 hours to explore Chicanna
