★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I were to suggest only one spot to have food in the city, I’d ask you to hit this spot and indulge in their Chilaquiles.
Honestly, forget all the expensive dining, this was by far my favourite meal of the trip. I ordered Chilaquiles with Salsa Verde, which is their green salsa and it is SPICYY! They aren't kidding when they say it’s “picante”. But I loved it, if you can’t bear the heat, order it with Salsa Mole or another mild sauce.
Needless to say, for such amazing food, we only paid 320 pesos ($ CAD 23). The portion was so big, it was my only big meal of the day.
The place is also so vibrant and funky looking, I loved the ambience. It was a beautiful day out and you could hear the Mariachi band serenading the streets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived just right before rush hour so avoided the line but if you get there late there will be a line outside. Food is Delicious reasonable pricing. I had #chilaquiles de mole and #chilaquiles in salsa roja. Also had a licuado de fresa con platano and a cafe de olla. Coffee was good. Definitely recommend this place just make sure to show up before 10am otherwise you will be waiting in line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nuestro lugar favorito!!! Haha seriously love this place. Such a cool vibe and the food is beyond. Just like abuelita would make. Go! You won’t be sorry it’s such a laid back fun place. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday after 9:30 be prepared for a little bit of a wait. Yo <3 chilakillers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chilaquiles are delicious. Your choice of salsa as well as topping. The restaurant was busy when we went but it was an easy in and out. Service was great and the decor was cool. Only downside is if you are an early bird, their opening hour is a little later in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try out true Mexican chilaquiles and experience different flavors at the same time, this is definitely your option. Located near the chick neighborhood la Condesa, Chilakiller's it's an excellent option every day of the week, though if you're planning to go on a weekend you better arrive early or you risk having to wait half an hour to get a table. The "agua del día" can come as a surprise, but it is definitely worth it!
