Great place! Friendly staff, food prices are great for the quality and quantity that you get! The only thing that could make this place better is AC.

Best cocktails in Tulum! You must try the Mayab. Mezcal, orange, honey. Terrific review, terrific experience. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent location, quaint, clean room, friendly staff & owners, fun bohemian flair. No AC but there are fans. Great location but bring ear plugs - next to cool bar with great night music.

This is not a hotel, it's 4 cabinas behind a restaurant. And I really hated my stay here. To make it short: Go somewhere else! It is really hard to find and you need to go through the restaurant to get to the cabins. Nobody knew this Hotel and no map included it. It was super loud: Right next to the Ciel Rose to it is another bar and behind it is the rooftop bar belonging to the restaurant. If that is not loud enough for you, the backup generator at night will be. I could only sleep with Ohropax/ear plugs at night. Why is the backup generator running all night? Because the whole place is solar powered and there is no sun in the night. It still would be loud, because it's also a noisy area and the cabinas are very rustic. We didn't even have a bathroom included in one of the two cabinas we rented. The bathroom was behind us in a separated building. Let's call these showers and toilets very basic. Next problem: The mosquitos. One night I was awoken by the itching of dozens of bites. Even with a net around the bed! You can not sit outside, it's unbearable, even with anti mosquito spray all over you. The "breakfast": It's exactly two slices of toast with enough jam for one slice. I'm used to continental style breakfast, but you can not call this breakfast included. The only good part: The staff was really nice.

This little slice of magic has such an authentic vibe “from the heart”. Seriously, arriving here after your travel journey can bring you to tears with its beauty and charm. We came for 8 nights with our two young daughters and had such an amazing experience with such incredibly kind staff—even the housekeepers were so sweet with our girls. Thank you Tona for the cheerful morning greetings, the Cenote recommendations & of course the delicious smoothies!! After long days exploring or at the beach, our girls slept through the sometimes loud music (from down the road) while my husband and I enjoyed a coconut or some wine right outside our little hut (we also always travel with a sleep sound machine which may have helped them stay alseep). Climbing the sunset tower is a must! Breakfast was pleasant with a new jam to try and a pitcher of perfect coffee to start your day. Obviously felt clean, safe & in a nice bustling location. Really grateful we stayed here and plan to return as soon as we can get away again.

Hands down the most special place to stay on the beach strip. It’s a great value, amazing food and drinks, the best views in tulum, and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

We came to Tulum to enjoy the famed white sand beaches, which we did. What was unexpected was the view of the layers of emerald green canopy at the Ciel Rose tower. When you are at the tower, you can see the sea partially on one side and the ocean of green on the other. What we realized was that the four story tower with the sunset bar was also the Ciel Rose, "heavenly rose," of the hotel. Everything was exquisitely designed by the owner who also has a small restaurant in the front. If you have the chance to stay in Tulum, try this delightful hotel. Enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar and watch the sun dissolve into gold. This hotel was a memorable part of our trip through Tulum and Playa Del Carmen. Best of all the owner uses solar panels as an electric source. We hope with people like him, small spots of nature will be preserved in Tulum. I rarely give five stars, but would give this place 4.5 if there was an option.

Such an amazing sunset view! Great drinks & vibes also. WAY better than Mateo’s next door (unless you’re looking for a place that’s a bit of a mess with bad drinks & food). A bit difficult to find, but if you enter through Pura Corazón and walk all the way to the back and up the stairs of the pink concrete building you’ll be in the right spot.
