★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After viewing many posts about restaurants in Morelia, Cielo Cocina Fusion was the one that we chose to try. And what a great choice it was. Here you will find a setting that is very comfortable with a great staff. We had delicious salads followed by grilled lamb. Excellent and such reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place. The menu is not extensive but had enough choices to satisfy most people. The presentation was well done and the flavors great. I had a cocktail and my husband a beer, my husband had the shrimp appetizer and chicken with peanut mole main dish while I had the Presa salad and the pita pizza with bacon and caramelized onions. We loved everything and the bill was only about $550. The desserts looked great and everyone (and I mean everyone) in the restaurant ordered one. I would have expected to pay more for food of this quality. Highly recommend the frappe of tamarido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine dinning all round. Well worth the walk/taxi ride from the centre. Excellent food creations and don’t miss the Mezcal se la Casa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I shared a t-bone steak and it was very good. It's as close to Nebraska (USA) beef as I have ever been able to find. In other words, it was one of the best steaks I have had.
The staff was friendly, efficient and made our dinner that much more enjoyable.
We will be going back. A word to the wise, however: this restaurant is at the top of a long staircase. Be sure you are ready for a bit of a climb. If you can do it, I promise it will be worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot. Consistently good. Friendly staff. Love this place. Nice alternative to El Centro and it's intrusive musicians, vendors, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried the Angus Choice Picana and the Salmon. Both were prepared perfectly. All the desserts were a wonderful finish. Will return to try other dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a fabulous meal here last evening...as its name implies, the menu here is incredibly imaginative, and allows the diner to experience a "classic" dish in a completely new way. Dishes are thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed. Chef Eddie and the whole team at Cielo obviously care very much about their menu, and I can't wait to go back again and again to taste my way through their seasonally-adjusted menu. (And please also explore the incredible menu of custom cocktails!)
My entrée last evening was a "deconstructed" chile en nogado, with intensely flavorful chicken in a subtle and elegant sauce. This kind of riff on "traditional" Mexican dishes pays off handsomely for the diner!
The beautiful dining room, on the second floor, is wrapped with a plant-filled terrace, and gets warmth from wood, brick, and beautiful works of art. Chef Eddie remains available to discuss the menu and make recommendations, and makes this a required experience for anyone visiting (or living in!) Morelia!
