★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Knocked one star off for it being very expensive for Mexico. Service was excellent from Armandino, and couldn't beat the view. The food was done well (ceviche and fish tacos). Had to pay for beach chairs. Overall had a nice time, but couldn't get over the price (1800 pesos for 2 people).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strange “rules”. We paid for lounge chairs, which came with wrist bands, and spent the afternoon while my husband had a few beers. However later when I went to use their washroom I was informed by the working staff that since it was now after 6 pm and our chair deal ended at 6 (first mention of this) so I could not use the ladies room there. Seriously? They were totally firm and inflexible even though we had spent a good bit of money there and had tipped well. The restaurant was still in service and appeared to be fully open for business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been in Playa for two weeks. I've ate at a different restaurant everyday, Coco Loco has definitely been one of my favorites! I enjoyed the food and their service was good. I also loved the spicy salsa. I was going to leave extra tip but the honest server pointed out it was already included on the ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is ridiculous! Prices are way to high for Mexico and this place doesn't look very fancy or luxurious to justify it. The chairs are cheap plastic, not to cozy inside. Overall looks shaky. Service is ok. The worst thing - they included tips in the bill! Seriously guys? 180 pesos for mojito and it wasn't even strong enough to call it that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service and really slow when there was barely people. Natural drinks were hot, unsweet and not even blended. The guy told us a price for the food and charged us way more, food wasn’t good at all. When we asked for the check he charged the tip in the bill for a service that wasn’t worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the beach as are many others. Are same looking and plentiful. Can get 2 loungers and umbrella for 200 pesos all day useage which appeared the going rate. Use of toilets included. Staff were pleasant. Food and drinks available. Stayed a few hrs. Only had a few drinks. 165 pesos for 2 diet cokes and a corona which imagine is also the going rate. Nicer part of the beach without rocks.

And for being in the *center* of the tourist beach area, they surprisingly do NOT take credit cards for payment. So, have one drink for the views/vibe and then move along.
