Food was very good, try the puerco en adobo, as well as the barbacoa and the tripa. They make their own tortillas and you can taste the flavor. Good experience, mostly for locals but the area is getting more popular due to new restaurants opening. I will definitely come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried three different meals and they were pretty bland for me. My friend loves their food and goes there all the time. But what I love the most is atmosphere of the place. They have outdoor movies on Thursdays. In my experience, I would come for atmosphere but not when hungry. The staff is nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem this place is! Aptly named, the food at Con Amor is most definitely cooked and served with love. We came on a Sunday when they do Guerrero-style barbacoa de res; if it wasn't the best barbacoa we have ever had, it was certainly the best we have had in Playa. Tender, flavorful, juicy meat on gorgeous handmade tortillas fresh off the comal... What's not to love??? We also tried one of their lunch dishes (the pork in a garlic chile sauce) which is offered every day, and it was also very good. Prices are reasonable when you consider the quality of and care put into the food, and for $30 extra, you can supplement your meal with an agua, soup and dessert. Service was very warm and friendly. I am already dreaming of our next visit back and what I will get to try!
