Great value if you don't mind the airport noise. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and well appointed kitchens. Snorkeling here is fantastic. Easy walk to town.

Two stays at Condumel and both were superb. This is real get away without the hassles of the large hotels or resorts. With the best beach side view of the island you are free of distractions and a nuisance television. I can not recommend this place enough. You can stay in and cook or grab good local food, or even tourist food very close by. Staff are awesome. It is truly one of the most relaxing stays I have ever had.

Spectacular place! Snorkeling right out your back door.

We have stayed here several times. we love it. very laid back, private, beautiful views, great staff, snorkeling right out back, close to the beautiful water, and close enough to walk into town. if you want a private relaxing place consider Condumel.

Owner threatened me over a final balance of $237. There was no communication about the check out process until I asked, the morning before I had to leave at 6:45 am. The woman at the office told me I could pay then or at 5pm, which was better for her. I returned late (5:12 pm) to find the owner waiting outside my room. He wouldn't accept my credit card and was upset that I didn't have the cash. There was no prior communication about not accepting credit cards. I offered Zelle, the only app they use for deposits ($500 in my case). I am a small framed woman, he is a tall broad shouldered (american) man. He barges into my room uninvited, looms over me to supervise my phone screen while I make the Zelle transaction. The Condumel wifi didn't work (sketchy all visit) and neither did my data. He implied I was trying to weasel out of my bill by pretending the app didn't work, though he saw everything on my phone. I was extremely uncomfortable and wanted to get away from him. To avoid further in person contact, I suggested to swim and catch my last sunset and that he would receive digital confirmation by 7:30pm. The story ends with me spending the last night on the island doing nothing but trying to settle the bill, as I had always intended to. Then staying up all night with my door wedged shut as best I could, afraid of every noise, after Zelle doesn't work and he threatens me in various ways including TAKING ME TO AN ATM TO MAKE ME WITHDRAW THE CASH. There was no deadbolt on the door. Very scary experience.

Wonderful place! Deserves 6 stars!!! Condumel is the perfect place to be in Cozumel. The condominium is small, so, there is no noisance, it is a great location, close to restaurants. The host is always available and friendly. I loved that the refrigerator is filled everyday, so, if you do not wish to go to the supermarkets, just open the fridge and get a cold beer! The cuisine has everything you need to make your own food, the bedroom and bathroom are huge and the oceanfront view is breathtaking! For us, who just wished to relax, the private beach is a must. No crowd to upset you and, if you want to cool down, just jump into the ocean!!! Thank you for our lovely stay!!!
