A cozy place in a very small town. The road from Tulum to Punta Allen took 4 hours, which is gravel road with MANY holes and large ponds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, the road getting there was/is the most terrible road I've ever driven , and I've offroaded all over the world. The road to Punta Allen is "special". Hopefully the MX Govt fixes it soon. ??
That said, it was 100% worth the 3.5-hour drive from Tulum to have the experience that Punta Allen Fishing Club provided me. From 20+ bonefish days with Pablo, to the amazing way Tiziano and Pascale make everyone feel at home, to the outstanding food, to the camaraderie of the other guests...straight up this was my dream trip to Ascension Bay. I went in February 2022, and loved it so much that I'll be going back in September, and plan to do so again and again in the years to come.
