★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were having a nice meal until I found a sheet of plastic in my quesadilla. The waiter seemed somewhat unphased and asked if I wanted a new order. I said no but asked for a coke. The coke was comped but we still were charged for the plastic quesadilla. What??
Plastic in food is not normal, especially when there are two tables in the entire restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the vegetarian fajitas and it was outstanding. I wasn't expecting to have one if my favorite meals in Mexico at a roadside restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and had outdoor seating as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped there after the visit of the Mayan city. Nice little spot located on the main road. We had the menu of the day which was home cooked. Good local food, low price, nice service, definitively a good option. Portions may look small for American standards, but we did not feel hungry after we finished our meal.

Lima soup was flavorless like if it had been watered down, Jamaica water was waaay to sweet and the main dish (we had cochinita pibil) was served cold with a badly cooked side of rice.
The worst part is that the next door store owns a dog and he was very neglected. Very sad scene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little restaurant. We were there all by ourselves. I expected it to be cheaper, but it was worth the pesos! VERY flavorful and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff with a little English to help. Delicious! Fresh, chunky guacamole that was so tangy!
