Playa del Carrizal y Playa Azul, se ubican a 15 minutos de la cabecera municipal. El atractivo de estas playas es que son una amplia franja de arena teniendo por un lado la laguna y por el otro el mar. Los canales de la laguna son propicios para el turismo de naturaleza, ecoturismo, turismo de aventura, deportes acuáticos y la pesca recreativa. Cuenta con una zona de restaurantes típicos de la región (enramadas), donde hay hoteles, cabañas, bungalows, glampings, albercas y áreas para acampar. Se pueden practicar los deportes de playa, así como de disfrutar el atardecer y admirar la puesta del sol. La gastronomía del lugar es variada, basada en pescados y mariscos con el típico sabor costeño.

What I love about this place is it’s river, you can swim in it, the water is actually really clean and clear, the food on the cavañas are really delicious and great prices to, I highly recommended this place to anyone. The negative part of this place is two way highway, traffic can be a headache and annoying because of the heat. Other than that their tacos and seafood are delicious and great quality of food, and there customer service is amazing here. It’s a family friendly place, people feel welcome and appreciated unlike in Acapulco.
