Best Hospital in Cozumel. I had surgery on both of my knee's at this place. Thanks to doctor Paula and his team. Thanks to Max, and all staff.

We went here to get the okay to go scuba diving and it was fabulous, basically no wait and everyone was very nice! I hope I never have to go back but I definitely would if I need to! Coming from the US, the price of the physical was great!! 10/10 would recommend!

My son broke his tibia and fibula here in the spring of 2018 at our hotel. Admitted to hospital on our 2nd day. Ortho would talk to our stateside doctor to confirm his plans and images from the xrays. They did a splendid job with the language barrier. Got to commend them on their willingness to work with our or tho at home. Nicer and cleaner than any hospital I've ever been in stateside. Cruise ships right out window. Bad "break" on our spring break but it worked out the best way it possible could.

I went to this hospital as I got some ear problems after snorkeling. I’m Mexican currently living in Germany. When I got in the reception I mentioned this to the receptionist, I was aware that the amount might need to be paid in cash and later my travel insurance will refund the costs. After I went to the doctor and he recommended to make an ear wash in that moment the receptionist entered the room and mentioned that the costs of the procedure would be around 3000-4000 MXN pointing out that just the doctor appointment was around 900MXN it looked like due to the price she was pursuing me not to take it as I’m might not be able to pay for the services. I think it that was due to the fact that mostly Americans and Europeans get their services and they assume a Mexican might not be able to pay. When I went to the front desk to get the receipt I found out that the total cost was only 1628MXN. The doctor appointment was 344MXN. I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk as to me this is not ethical a person which might need the service would say no due to the fact that they provide surreal costs that will not be charged in reality just to see if people got money to pay for it. This shows the classism and discrimination against local people and that shouldn’t happen anywhere and is even worse if that’s in a hospital. My ear problem wasn’t solved either tho. I would recommend to go to other hospital with a more ethical vision.

I was rushed to this hospital for a severe allergic reaction at my hotel, when I arrived I advised them my throat was closing and I could hardly breathe, they took about 20 minutes to give me oxygen. The 2 nurses “couldn’t find my veins” for an IV and when they tried they blew my vein out, when I begged the doctor to just give me an epi pen as I have had allergic reactions before he laughed in my face and went to sit down and scroll through Instagram. The nurses then took another 15-20 mins to try and find another vein and at that point I refused care and purchased Benadryl as I didn’t feel safe in that hospital. Thank god it worked. The bedside manner at this hospital is absolutely disgusting, and they decide what they charge you based on who you are.

We did our Covid tests here for our return flight to the USA. It was super efficient, affordable, professional and safe. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. We also received our results by email in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend them for Covid tests.

As a dive master from Colombia, it gives me great reassurance to know that the International hospital has a hyperbaric chamber here in Cozumel in case I experience any problems while diving. And as a designer, I loved stepping inside the hospital and experiencing its elegant yet warm ambiance, and all the staff members I met were super friendly. It’s a beautiful and helpful place.

Excellent hospital, excellent staff, excellent experiences. Around 11pm my girlfriend was in the late, painful, life-threatening stages of appendicitis. After a nightmarish encounter at the public hospital I rushed her here. She was seen almost immediately by caring, competent physicians and the hospital was able to arrange for surgery within hours. She spent an extra night here in a private room on the fifth floor overlooking the ocean. The nurses and doctors did all they could to make her comfortable and tended to her medical needs while keeping us informed. It reminded me of my hospital stay at UCLA in Santa Monica. Seriously, this hospital is on par with exceptional hospitals in the United States and the care my girlfriend received was top-notch. The administrators here are great too. The price was more than fair and remarkably less than it would cost in the US. I've been here twice for covid test required to enter the United States and brought my girlfriend back a few months later for a minor procedure. All my experiences here have been excellent and I'd like to send a big thank you to everyone at Cozumel International Hospital.
