Haven't stayed but stopped at restaurant yesterday for 2 for 1 margaritas ( drawn in by board advert). Ok, while the vibe is great with 'cool' looking people lounging on beanbags and the service is good, the appetizers are too expensive $100 peso each tiny taco. Pet HATE with 2 for 1 margaritas is the price for one being $15 US ( we're I'm Mexico), and the drinks being so watered down that there's not even a hint of alcohol #ripoff.

Delek was an absolutely beautiful place, but unfortunately this is where the praise ends. The prices were so obscene that we felt taken advantage of by the end of our stay. For example, we were charged $22 for a single bottle of water, where a bottle of water across the street at the pharmacy was only $4. We definitely expected high prices before we booked our stay knowing what kind of vacation we were committing to, but this was highway robbery. The drinks and food prices were also exceptionally high. Delek was located in the middle of the downtown strip, where the clubs are. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this isn’t the resort for you — you’ll be hearing the club music until 4 a.m. every night. We ended up relocating to the Nest down the road for the second half of our stay, and we would highly recommend. The food and drink prices were less than half of Delek’s, it was only 8 minutes away on the same strip, and we could hear the waves crashing as we slept instead of the loud club music. Would highly recommend Nest over Delek!

Haven't stayed at the hotel, just was surprised that the guardsman would not let us park our motorbike on the parking lot, saying it was full when there was cleary enough space for many more motorcycles. Also the guardsman did not offer us any alternative or showed interest in welcoming us. There are definitely other great alternatives in the beach to eat and drink.

I can’t say enough about this place. It’s a hidden gem. To provide some context, I’m a Ritz Carlton platinum member so I love luxury hotels. I was a bit nervous about hotel beforehand. Now, I can attest the experience at Delek was as enjoyable as any Ritz or Four Seasons. It’s important to understand that at Tulum, you’re here to relax, eat good Mexican food, enjoy the beach, and party at clubs. The only reason Delek is not rated higher is because they don’t have their own pool, gym, etc. However, Delek is centrally located to everything. The rooms are gems with own ocean warm breezy patios. The beach is super relaxing, and literally right next door to famous Jungle Gym, Bagatelle Pool Beach Club, Mia Pool Beach Club, etc. So we got all the workouts we wanted, were able to party all we wanted, and then escape back to Delek within seconds away. The best part here is the staff… they bent over backwards for us. Fernando at front desk/concierge set up everything needed for Tulum partygoer… he knew all the places to visit, restaurants, etc. From the beginning, he gave me his cell and was accessible from the first hour. I bothered him about everything and he was super patient and helpful. What was super scary was that my girlfriend and I were injured riding a scooter (my fault) and the manager Thalia cared for us in most motherly comforting way possible. The head of security, Eli, literally cleaned our wounds by hand. Thalia coordinated doctor, taxi, hospital visit… and made sure we as American tourists didn’t get ripped off by contacting everyone ahead of time by herself. I am speechless on how important we felt. From Mezcal shots to lighten our moods when getting stitches to visiting us non stop, I can’t say enough. If you visit Tulum, this place is a gem! Joe C

We came to Delek Tulum located in the hotel Zone as part of our honaeymoon and we were exited because this is our second time around in tulum. Our stay wasn't cheap compared to other hotels in mexico(playa del Carmen) and was at cost of 400 USD per night and total 800 USD. Still comparing to playa de Carmen or cancun - this was expected to be amazing. As it turns out, Tulum has changed greatly to a money making mechine which is the opposite of value for money. Our welcoming wasn't really nice and i would expect a better English speaking personal in the reception and to be more welcoming. Later on and because our room was delayed by 40 minutes a really nice guy gave us free welcoming drinks and guacamole. It was definitely nice to have a welcoming wine in our room and thank you Delek for that. The room was small having almost no where to put our luggage, the queen bed is not really comfortable as we woke up with backaches but this is really personal, you might think different of it. Also purified water was provided to brush teeth in a small tank. The balcony is more welcoming and holds to places to hang out, including a loveseat and a hammock, really nice to spend some time there. In the morning they give complementary coffee and cookies served to the balcony. Something that botherd me is that wine bottle, the glasses and the morning coffee wasn't taken from the balcony for a long time.(the wine and glasses - more than a day) The shower and bathroom are "modern" wood design but besides the "natural" look the rusti pipes and showerheads are not too great combined with inconsistent hot water flow and genreal weak stream. Hand held shower douch wasn't in the shower. All this would have been agreeable if the water was fresh water, but they were salt water - some will like it, we didn't. The restaurant is good and the food is tasty but be prepared for your pockets to be draind as it is much much more expensive then normal. We really expected Tulum (hotels zone) to be calm but the main road is packed with construction sites and trucks, giving you the feeling that outside the hotel you're walking on a highway. The hotel provides a vibe of sustainability but to go outside and smell (and hear)the generators is quite ironic. All in all - maybe my experience wasn't good because i compared it to other places in Mexico, but having known Tulum before it feels like a big show and not something that is really worth paying premium for. This leaves this review with 3 stars Pros: balcony, nice view, Cons : salt water shower, small room space, doesn't feel value for money, cleaning Edit : the hotel reply is more than respectful and i thank you for that. If i missed the the notice about the water , its my mistake and i advice all to read carefully all confirmation e-mails. Indeed the written communication via email and whatsapp was good, but we had some difficulties face to face. Thank you for relaying with great deal of seriousness ???

Our whole stay was a mess. We stayed for three days. We payed around 700 USD per night (at the cheapest room)!! The noise at night was as described and we don't have a complain about it but at morning there was construction noises from around 07:00am and that was horrible. On our first night we didn't had warm water and the answer we got from the reception the next day was "ohh, we forgot to turn the boiler on" On our second day we start to notice weird stains all over the bathroom and the toilet so we cleaned it and it came again and again (it was a mushroom) the hotel sent some one with some chemical and said they can't provide another room and we can't use the bathroom. The worst value for money I experienced in my life. Check my other reviews, I've never gave a bad one but this was too crazy. Most say - The location and beach is nice.

OBSESSED with Delek is an understatement. Absolutely incredible resort! Every inch was immaculate and beautiful. Like an actual dream. My fiancé proposed to me the first night of our stay and the staff went above and beyond to set up something wonderful for us and made us feel so special. The foods and drinks were amazing too! 5 stars all around. BEST trip ever!

One of the best places to stay at Tulum beach. Very fair prices regarding minimal consumption. Luxury caring and calmed down service staff presenting an unforgettable stay. Update: Went a second time and the staff didn’t seem to have a good day, please be more consistent
