Dental Progreso Dr X - 88810 Nuevo Progreso

Dr X, Dental Progreso staff, absolutely OUTSTANDING. There are not enough stars here to post. I had zirconia crowns (23) done by Dr X himself. Thank you so much for quality work and professionalism. I have been through a tremendous amount of dental nightmares in the United States and researched 2 years before getting off my rear and getting it done in Mexico. BEST Decision I ever made!!!!! I had my teeth crowned and here it is 2years later and nothing, not even a smidge of an issue with these crowns. I now smile and it is all thanks to this man! People comment he is expensive--- NO HE IS NOT. He is the best and I have seen many specialist in the states. I refuse to even let a Dentist in the US look in my mouth. All my dental work will be done in this office. The staff is very kind and helpful, and seem to appreciate the hell we have gone through in American dentistry. The front desk greets everyone and is very accommodating. There are not enough words to express how great this office is. If you go once you will never enter another US dental office again, its a marketing scheme. You will go here, and trust them for everything, for that is how great they are. Once they placed my crowns, I never had another "TMJ" issue again. I just could go on and on, but if I did the next time I need an appointment they may not be able to squeeze me in. LOL We are returning for my husband to get all his teeth crowned. We both will get implants as my step mom got implant dentures and LOVES them. NO issues. Do not pay a US located dentist office when you can see this American ran, clean and top of the line dental office.

I thought I had researched this Dentist thoroughly. Feb 2020 It is not the outcome I had expected. I need to correct my bite, I had quite a few issues due to my bite. Dr. X. assured me over and over that all my problems would be corrected. I flew in three times from Canada and stayed 3 to 4 days to get all the work done Implant and then crowns to fix bite issues. Had to have a root canal on the spot. I get home within 2 weeks one crown has popped off, then a month later another and an infection starts. Call my dentist in Canada who prescribes amoxicillin until I can get an appt (COVID 19). Finally get an appt to see my dentist ...Xray reveals no post was put in (specifically discussed on the first appt with Dr. X) on tooth #14. Crown popped off also #24 (area where the infection was) as the dentist is preparing to cement crown back on #25 is loose, easily comes of too show packing gauze still in tooth cavity ....no wonder I had an infection. This is totally sloppy work. They are too busy moving the clients threw their chairs that the finishing work is bad. I have grey spots on my some crowns. He fused crowns together and implants and I was not informed that was how it was going to be done. I have tried contacting Dr X but have received no response...I have been ghosted. They have taken my hard earned money and do not back up the work they have done. Yes he is expensive, I gather I could have gone down the street for half the price and got the same work done. Shame on Dr. X for not addressing my issues since March. I would urge anyone dealing with Dr. X get it all in writing and hold back money. I am having my dentist in Canada send a letter to Dr. X. I am sure I will again get no response. Not a happy client. Denice

DR did not show up for following up appointment. He had assistant do work. They tried to do implant with just topical pain killer. I know they could hear me scream in waiting room. Had to insist the give injection for pain management. Finally after two more attempts I finally felt numb. I paid for DrX traveled 400 miles to Mexico expected better. Will not recommend them.

Today I had a tooth extraction for a severely cracked tooth. Dr. Andres and his assistant assured my comfort during the procedure. They were professional, kind and thorough in the aftercare plan they gave me. In addition Jorge at the front desk helped me get an emergency appointment and welcomed me as I walked through the door. Like their doormat says, you’ll love Dr. X.

So far I have not been impressed by my experience with Dr. X. He, himself, did none of the work, nor did he check the work of the other dentists. The wait time was long. I experienced much pain during the procedures and continue to have pain two weeks later and am unable to get dentist to return my calls.I am out thousands of dollars and no work is complete.

Very good I have had six or seven dentist and Dr X is by far the best Clean knowledgeable great staff I come from Canada and he is by far better the Canadian dentist I have had work done on my teeth all over the world (in the oil field) he and his staff is the best If you want a good job at a reasonable price the he is your man

Oct. 11, 2021 I called before leaving home, I told them my two daughters needed a cleaning, we were going to be walk-ins, and I would be there in 40 mins. They said okay but people with appointments were a priority. When I arrived the receptionist said it would be about 45mins. I said okay and asked if she could take our info down. She said she didn't need it. The whole experience while taking to her was very unwelcoming. We went next door to Dentist Benitez and felt welcomed. Glad we went elsewhere.

Clean facility and very sweet people. I had my wisdom teeth removed and although it took a while getting me completely numb they remained patient and ensured that I would feel nothing. Everyone that we encountered was very sweet!! We were quoted $1800 in TX for this procedure and I paid $350 at Dr.X the prescriptions were at the pharmacy one door over and only $23 which was very nice. I had a wonderful experience. My mother also had all her teeth pulled and implants put in and has had nothing, but good things to say. As far as crossing the border it is a simple walk across the bridge, but be prepared to be approached immediately. People asking for money and trying to sell services etc. I was not prepared for that part. I never felt unsafe, but my husband was with me. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone if you’re needing a high dollar procedure.
