★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came back every month for three months to get new window covers for my boat. Each time he dug around in the back of the shop and had done nothing. Didn’t seem to care I had ready paid 50%. Took job to jarretaderas. Not a nice person and totally useless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I walked in and and met Guillermo who owns Diaz Marine Canvas. What a nice person! I had a relatively small job and he did the work immediately.
As he repaired my dodger cover he told me his story. He learned his trade in Marina Del Rey, California, working with his Father after school, since he was 13. The fellow who owns the other canvas shop in town actually used to work at his shop. He said, ..."there's plenty of work for both of us"!
His shop has been open for over 10 years and he has a faithful following of customers. He is bilingual, extremely skilled (as evidenced by the projects he had stacked and waiting) and extremely knowledgeable.
I highly recommend Guillermo's shop! Stop by and mention that Suzanne or SeagypsySuz recommend him. I'm sure that will make him smile!
