Dive Paradise - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

Great dive shop and very professional staff! Sergio was an awesome divemaster and made sure both dives went well, 2nd time coming here and not my certainly not my last , see you guys again soon !

Did 12 dives with Dive Paradise with one night dive. Their boats are slow, and generally large. Most days we had 12 guests diving so two diving groups. The dive masters are friendly and make sure you are safe and understand the dives. Most dives are drift dives in Cozumel, they didn’t have much extra gear on the boats (one day someone forgot their goggles so just waited on the boat) Only pay for the dives you KNOW you will go on. They won’t refund you or let you move a dive. Some divers complained that they were out $$ because they couldn’t move a dive. The flashlights they rent to you for the night dive are worthless. You are better off buying a $10 ebay dive light. Between dives they provide snacks that were pretty good. Once in a while they have a photographer dive with you, he charges $120 for his photos but you can talk him down in price. All in all we had a good experience and would dive with them again.

Had such an amazing time getting certified with DP! Henor, my dive instructor was kind and patient. He made me feel confident in my skills and excited for my future in diving. Highly recommend!

Using Dive Paradise is the best thing to do in Cozumel! My group had our dive training with them, Omar and Gener were amazing and helpful. After the end of training my group went on the 2-Tank “Caribbean” AM Dive with dive paradise as well. Both dives were so breathtaking and a wonderful experience. We saw so much wildlife. They had sandwiches and other snacks onboard, I would however suggest notifying Dive Paradise about Vegan-friendly selections. To anyone looking to go diving in Cozumel, Dive Paradise should be the one.

When we first arrived, the staff and instructors were very efficient with helping us get our paperwork done so we could quickly move on to the training. Our instructors, Omar and Gener, were super good-natured and funny as well as helpful during our training. We all trained to do the OPEN WATER e-learning-PADI Certification. Several times I had trouble equalizing, and Omar and Gener waited with me and helped me descend separate times, which was comforting. The days of dive training were extremely tiring but very fun and rewarding. After our training, during our boat dive, I was worried that I’d have trouble equalizing again, but the divemaster, Jorge, told me that we’d all stick together and if I had any issues we could all return and drop me off back at the boat. It turned out that I was fine, and I dove successfully with everyone after all! We saw several reefs on the boat dive, and they were all alive and beautiful and the water was so clear and a perfect temperature. It was an unreal experience and I’m glad that we got to dive with Dive Paradise, the friendly instructors made the already exciting experience of diving even more joyful and memorable.

I had a great experience learning how to scuba dive with Omar and Gener. I did the Dive Paradise OPEN WATER e-learning-PADI Certification course first and then finished the certification in Cozumel. I was nervous at first about scuba diving but while my guides pushed me they were also kind and patient. I’m now a certified scuba diver because of them, and I had an amazing time seeing the beautiful reefs and different sea life. My group did a boat dive once we were certified, the team of guides were fun and easy to talk to. Everything went smoothly and we were able to see rays, sharks, barracuda and more. Diving with Dive Paradise is an unforgettable experience and I’m so glad I chose them to do my certification training and other dives.

This shop was fantastic to work with. Susan with reservations was fantastic and accommodating even after a diving day was canceled due to the ports being closed. I had was a solo dover and ended up going with the DM and another couple so it was nice and intimate. This shop will pick you up from many local hotels and the main location is connected to Hotel Cozumel via a tunnel. They even have these powered unwanted sub things. Picture is attached. Will definitely be going back!

I took a group of 15 divers to Dive Paradise this week, and I can not recommend them enough! Our boat crew was the best, most attentive crew I've ever worked with in my 16 years of diving. Pedro was el capitan extraordinaire with boat skills that made for easy rides and smooth in-water pickups. Alex, the boat hand, knew us all by name and exactly what weight we needed by day one! He helped with anyone who needed it and was always there before you could even ask for help. Jorge and Edgar were incredible guides who allowed us the freedom to do some scuba education while being attentive and fun! They coached some of our new divers to become better without being pushy or rude. We're all better divers at the end of this week because of them!! This crew is seriously amazing. I look forward to coming back soon!
