Dive Zihua - 40890 Zihuatanejo

Brought my family (5 per trip) to the area and wanted to get underwater. Based on reviews, we selected Dive Zihua. Maude was very prompt in returning my emails and was very flexible on dates when we made our reservations. We had excellent communications throughout. Maude met us a the dock on our first day of diving. There was a delay in getting off the dock due some engine issues, but it wasn't really much of a problem. Our first two dives were really, really nice. We've been to some spectacular diving spots (our last family dive trip was Little Cayman's Bloody Bay Wall), so our expectations were fairly low. But the quantity and variety of the fish life was really, really nice, and we all agreed it was a very nice dive. The staff was great, Maude was very attentive both in and out of the water. The equipment was in good shape, and because our dive was fairly shallow, we got a lot of bottom time, which was terrific. On our second day, we went deeper, and the flora and fauna was much less interesting. HOWEVER, we did get to hear whales singing underwater which was awesome and made our dive very special. The crew was professional and fun as with the first dive. And Maude dove with a camera and sent us pics at no charge. Nice! I highly recommend Dive Zihua if you are diving in Zihuatenejo.

The dives were a lot of fun and the instructors were amazing! We felt comfortable the entire time and got to see some pretty amazing spots. The owner replies to emails quickly which made it easy to book and plan. If you are in the area, I would definitely choose them.

I did two days of diving with Maude and her team, one day to Morris de Potosi - awesome! - and one day of local Zihua sites. The rental equipment was in excellent shape and Maude was a great dive leader, buddy, and hostess. I felt very safe and well led. I will definitely dive with Dive Zihua every time I'm in town, thank you, Maude!

Got certified with Dive Zihua! What an EXPERIENCE! This company is so great! The guides speak awesome English. The program was (as I had looked) a great price for the package. But most importantly, I had a great, fun, and reassuring time! (especially for someone who went in with trepidation and a lot of fear, even once starting out in the water). I can't believe how many fun things we saw--electric rays, octopus, many different eels, and Maude has a magical eye for the tiny details--she's always locating the tiny colorful things like nudibranchs and sea horses! What a way to cultivate delight in a new diver. Oh and...they've taken a lot of precautions to ensure safety through COVID. They wear masks, they're careful about making sure people are distanced and clean. Super appreciated. Thanks to Maude and team, I'm now a certified diver!!

WOW. DiveZihua is an exceptional diving experience. I felt so safe diving off Maud's boat and taking my PADI training and certification while in Zihuatanejo along with our daughter on the same day. 1st, DiveZihua had the professional tools and their own properly outfitted diving boat. 2nd, Maud is such a great communicator, I felt very safe and encouraged. I highly recommend learning to dive and diving with DIVEZIHUA. 3rd the price was very reasonable. 4th don't worry about photos, DiveZihua take lots of photos of you and the dive and gives them to you FREE

Had a great time diving with Maude. Very pleasant, professional and fun to dive with. Had a great time, unfortunately not there long enough to dive more with her. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Had such a great time with Maude and her team. Super laid back and friendly, they made me feel safe the whole time (second-time diver) but let me explore and learn at my own pace. I ended up booking a second trip for the next day it was so great. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back to beautiful Zihua and to dive with Dive Zihua again.

What a great experience! Diving with Maude and her team was fun and safe at the same time! We were very impressed how everything is organized - you are not rushed to jump into the water until everything is checked and adjusted and everybody is comfortable. At the same time, the atmosphere is really fun - Maude has such a great personality! She is also a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor, familiar with the local dive sites and has a great eye for marine life! She takes beautiful underwater pictures, so we will keep great memories of the four dives we had together! It was a pleasure!
