★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should have known better, any place that starts with the name ‘Don’ would be a let down. Was excited to try this cute spot for dessert at the end of the day but it was overpriced and a huge letdown. Ordered a regular and a pistachio special - both were undercooked and underwhelming. Really wanted this small pop-up to be better but probably one of the worst churros I’ve had. Nothing like the joints you find in Mexico City - why is it so hard to make good fresh churros? Maybe the humidity?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had really high expectations of this place that were not met. We had classic churros with dark chocolate dip. The churros were rough, chewy and not soft on the inside. Seems like they don’t change the frying oil so often. The churros in Brew Tulum are much better and they make them fresh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered two original churros and I knew they weren’t going to be good as soon as I saw them being cooked. My wife took one bite and that was all she could stomach. I tried my best but it was way too doughy and just didn’t taste good at all. The small family owned churro carts are the way to go instead of Don Churro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a lot of churros but these by far are the freshest the hottest and the most crispy delicious goodness the moment it hits your tongue. The chocolate is by far my favorite although I haven't tried other flavors but intend to do so. I highly highly recommend this churro stand!! Manny Guzman is the best churro chef in all of this side of Mexico! Try it for yourself and you won't be disappointed they open from 4-10:30 p.m. ☺️
