Fantastic breakfast and dinner with a view!

Fantastic view for breakfast, lunch or supper. Staff that are anxious to serve and please. Excellent food served promptly!

Excellent service from Abelardo, Ricardo and other guys. Uber has a great knowledge about wines, so you can always have a good advice from him. Food was amazing and we were there every day for lunch or dinner. The manager was very friendly. They have the best kitchen chef in all resort :) We spent very romantic time on the beach dinner, outside the restaurant with a great attractions. We highly recomend this place to have a meal in this resort.

For a Seafood restaurant some of the best steak on the property....but better than that the lamb chops are exquisite....my mouth waters as I write this.

We had breakfast and dinner at the Dorado several times throughout our stay and enjoyed every experience! Food was great quality, flavor, and presentation and the service was fantastic!

The absolute best restaurant in this hotel. Quiet, peaceful, and what's most important, you do not have to worry you won't get a table. Compared to other restaurants, you don't have to deal with families with children, so it's less crowded. The food was delicious, the staff professional and charming. I have nothing to say in negative aspects. If I ever revisit this hotel, I'll book most of my meals right here.

Very good place to have lunch or dinner. Friendly staff. The seafood is fresh. And the rib eye steak is also good. We didn't expect it while the restaurant name is Dorado and it is for seafood and grill but turns out as the best steak of the whole resort! It is in the hideaway section of the Royalton so no kids aloud so you can eat without crying kids.

The Dorado is a beautiful Ocean-Front restaurant with open concept and fresh sea-breeze through its sliding all glass walls. While this restaurant is a great option at the Royalton riviera cancun some odd menu item decisions mean that your experience may vary depending on what you choose to order! This theme is consistent through Royalton riviera cancuns other restaurants as well. For example the ahi tuna burger had beef burger toppings a low quality sesame seed bun, pickles and a cheese slice??? The Ahi tuna was cooked beautifully and to your choice of done-ness. But it was wasted by the very odd and quite unpleasant choice of toppings and flavours. The lobster bisq was actually shrimp and seem almost out of a can. Then on the flip side if you like octopus the octopus salad was beautiful and delicious, balanced flavours and cooked perfectly. The steak while lower quality than our previous visits is still the best in the Mayan and was perfectly cooked and delicious! Again,properly seasoned and flavourful! The sides were also well presented and cooked with great garlic flavour and great texture. We believe the inconsistency is due to some post COVID issues as we have been to Royalton in the past and these minor issues were not present. To be clear the Royalton chain is by far still our favourite resort chain! For now just choose the right dishes and you will be pleased with most restaurants on the resort! Especially the Dorado!
