★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really can’t say enough good things about this place, I got sick while I was there (nothing to do with anything I ate from there) and they literally made me feel so safe and at ease. My husband had to leave and I couldn’t travel as I was too sick and the staff couldn’t have done more to accommodate me, being 4.5 months pregnant I was super scared and they literally bent over backwards to help me. The whole place is so lovely - the food was 10/10, the beds so comfy (I spent a lot of time in one!) and the service was some of the best I’ve had in a hotel, I was made to feel like part of the family. Cannot recommend enough. We will be back, with a little one! Really couldn’t be more grateful for staying there. 10/10 recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel to stay at. The architecture is insanely gorgeous. The decor is lovely. The rooftop bar is gorgeous as well. The pools are nice and clean. Super service. Friendly staff. Located directly downtown Tulum, close to everything you might need. Would definitely go back there!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped off and had mid afternoon coffee. Small boutique hotel. Reception, lounge area all open air...the place is completely renovated..WIP putting in a glass evaluator in the back of hotel. Seems very nice. Service was super friendly ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed 3 nights at Downtown Tulum. Bad experience. You can hear the loud music from the rooftop bar in your room - so no sleep before midnight.
Further, the cleaning staff screwed us. They put an open water bottle in our fridge, even though we haven’t drunk anything. The front desk girl said: “It’s just 50$.” If it would be that easy, why should we pay for something we haven’t used?! This was not not fair. At the end, we paid for it, but we felt screwed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and i stayed at the downtown for 1 week.
The hotel is beautiful and clean BUT what they don´t tell you is that its a Party hotel.
They have DJ´s every night until 1AM you will hear blasting music. ITS NOT A HOTEL , ITS A CLUB WITH ROOMS , and they stand for it and call it their Concept !
Every night until 1 we suffered and tried to find some sleep .
The parties are mainly on the rooftop .
They dont really have many visitors but still it is the hotel policy to blast the music as loud as they can even if only 5 ppl are partying on the rooftop.
We complained all we received was some earplugs.
It was a painful week:-( on our very night last night there was a couple violently arguing next door.
its was so loud and violent that we thought the women may need some help.
Eventhough the hotel has security, nobody went and check what was happening.
The security is super unfriendly, never greets the guest - they give the vibes of mean club bouncers wich is super bad for such a hotel.
I wish i could upload the videos i have made every night to document the noise. It was truly horrible.
The girls at the reception were super cute and tried to help. They could not deny that the "music concept " is indeed problematic and they receive a lot of complains.
I really dont know why the party aspect is more important then the wellbeing of the guests.
For me its a NO , never again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the rooftop bar, even though there are 4 bar tenders behind the bar, only one takes orders. The others refuse to take orders in an unfriendly manner, neither they advise the main bartender. Bar was not full, but they did not make an effort to take care of the few guests that were there.
When paying the bill we were faced with an already set tip of 20% which is not the norm for Mexico and neither is it desired to have it already set on the bill neither did the bad service justify such a high tip. It can be misunderstood as a form of ripping off the guests. It seems like a tourist trap to us. There are much better options to have a good time in Tulum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very nice and unforgettable evening. The food was super delicious and so was the cocktail. I really enjoyed the music. Very good service. The expensive prices are worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super welcoming, super friendly, super delicious!
I stayed here with my wife, we were instantly made to feel like family. All of the staff were amazing. Genuinely friendly. They literally could not do enough for us.
The open plan layout makes for a light & vibrant atmosphere. Although not conducive to any ‘early nights’!
The rooftop serves great food, cool music and beautiful sunsets!
I’ll absolutely be staying there again.
