Dr. Adrian Malja - 63732 Bucerías

I have been going to Dr Adrian since I was 12 years old. I have always had an amazing experience, I consider him and his staff family. I recommend him to everyone!

Well unfortunately I broke a molar halfway through my vacation here in Nuevo Vallarta and was in a state of panic thinking how I would go about getting this taken care of being I spoke limited Spanish. So I of course Googled dentist near Nuevo Vallarta and the Trip advisor posting consistently recommended Dr. Adrian Malja in Bucerias...20 minutes north of Nuevo Vallarta. I took their advice and went to see him the next day and to put it succinctly I was impressed by the warm, professional service I received in his very modern setup...and I am am medical professional myself. He took me in without an appointment, spoke fluent English, and lickity-split he had my tooth mended and as good as new, leaving me to continue the rest of my vacation worry free without breaking the bank. So if you ever need dental work done anywhere near Bucerias Mexico do stop in and see the good Dr. Malja...or Adrian as he insisted I called him. Thank you Doc.

Quality of service is good. But the attitude towards customers leaves much to be desired! First time turned almost 2 month ago, immediately reported how much time will be in Mexico. Schedule appointments, for each reception had to call, write and visit for the purpose of each destination. Each party tried to pay forward for treatment, without assigning the next visit. As a result, over 2 months and haven't done half the work, citing the fact that they are busy and they do not have the ability to appoint the next visit even for the month ahead. Question-what should be the duration of rest to get basic treatment in this clinic-6 months! I do not recommend anyone contact this clinic, in order not to lose time in vain. In this city full of dental clinics, who happily will serve customers in a convenient time for them!

Dec 31,2018 Husband had tooth break off into sharp shards. Walked in office Jan 2,2019 for urgent care . Examination, xray, antibiotics and pain medication that day. Returned in 10 days for extraction and bone graph. Follow ups and required healing time explained thoroughly and chose to go with implant procedure upon returning December 2019. Compassionate and excellent care, state of the art equipment and everything and everyone 100% patient care focused . Highly recommend Dr Adrian Malji.

I have several times used Dr Adrian Malja for dental work from extractions to fillings and several root canals and crowns. He and his staff are bilingual and very friendly and professional. His office is nice but sometimes crowed during high tourist season, obviously very well recommended by lots of visitors via word of mouth. The air conditioning helps keep everyone cool. Dr A worked in the USA for many years in NY so has very high standards and equipment but in comparison to USA or Can you can have a vacation and dental work done instead of paying your dentist back home to take your trip. Even if in the area go get a checkup and cleaning...well worth it Maybe funny to say but looking forward to my next visit to the dentist.

One crown by this office needed to be replaced multiple times in a period of 6 months. One of those times the loose crown broke another crown. The office discounted their rate to 50% to compensate Then the crown came off again while eating oatmeal. This time I was out of town and so I had another dentist replace the crown. That dentist indicated the glue was not sticking to the crown. i asked for reimbursement from Dr Malja of the $40.00 that the other dentist charged to properly clean and fix the crown. Dr Maljas office paid me the $40 but required that I sign a paper to say they will not repair it again. This is rather insulting. No appology. Just the money and the letter. Hopefully my experience is not typical. I should note that the crown work was not Dr Adrian himself, but a newer dentist. Dr Adrian checked her work each time, but it still kept coming off. I have a mouth full of crowns, most by another Mexican dentust, and this problem is not what I have come to ecpect. Nor did I exoect the insulting letter at the end of the 6 month ordeal.

I am a dental hygienist from Canada and recently saw Dr Malja for a white filling and gold inlay. My experience was great and I am happy and satisfied with the work that was done. My first appointment was a consultation in which and x-ray was taken and options for treatment were discussed. He is very good with giving freezing and made my comfort and experience an important part of the process. The dentist, and all of his staff, were very effective communicators and prioritized listening to my needs, questions and concerns. They even fit me in the same day when I needed a bite adjustment as they are closing for a few days of holiday. As a hygienist, I have seen a lot of bad dental work and heard about negative experiences, when people seek treatment outside their country of origin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Malja and his office to my friends and family. Thank you for the excellent care…my teeth are happy and the work is very aesthetically pleasing.
