Joyce and her team offered a fantastic service from start to finish. She helped us find reputable (and budget friendly) local vendors so the vision of our wedding was brought to life. She helped communicate our vision with our resort and stayed firm when we were being up-sold or pushed toward features that we didn’t want for our wedding. In fact, 7 days before our wedding the resort wedding manager quit— typically a bride would have panicked, but Joyce had taken such care and detailed notes that we simply handed a copy of the wedding plan to the new manager. Unsurprisingly, the day of the wedding was the easiest and best day ever. We stuck to the timeline, no drama, no stress and ended up with one of the best and most beautiful days imaginable. We are so grateful to Dream Weddings Riviera Maya.

I honestly don’t know where to start. Joyce is one special human that we need to cherish. Joyce is honest and has the patience of a saint but will attack any issues head on for your benefit. Planning a wedding is difficult in its self and destination weddings are not for the faint of heart. I certainly had no business having a destination wedding lol . 1st being an artist, a planner and very Particular. I knew not having control was going to be hard. With that being said Joyce understood the assignment. There were times I literally couldn’t think and Joyce would say “don’t worry girl we got this” every time I felt reassured everything was going to be ok. Her vendors are nothing short of amazing. Joyce without me asking knew the vendors that would suit me as a women of color my hair/ makeup was flawless and video/photo all captured us in all our beautiful shades of color. This is major because not everyone caters to darker skin tones. Even with travel chaos and our welcome event being switched Joyce’s team showed up with a smile on her face and made sure all was in place. Once the wedding day arrived I was able to relax and just be taken care of. Everything turned out better than I could even imagined. I received the wedding of my dreams that I didn’t even knew I dreamed of. Every single guest was in amazement and Awe. The response I continue to receive is that our wedding was the best wedding and it’s going to be hard for anyone to top it. There is no way I could have done this without Joyce and her team! She was worth every penny.

As a day-of wedding coordinator, I was very skeptical to hire someone. I always imagined I would plan my own wedding. However I am happy (and shocked) to say - I have ZERO complaints about Joyce and her team! She brought my vision to life. She was completely calm when I changed the entire decor 6 weeks out. She listened to what I wanted and found vendors that could make it happen. Every vendor she recommended was quality. I had my dream wedding day - not ONE thing went wrong, at least to my knowledge! Even days before when I was crying about the weather and various stressors, Joyce and her team were kind and helped me stay calm. It would be a mistake to hire anyone else! I’m just sad my wedding is over!!

Where do I begin! I discovered this amazing human being on YouTube when researching wedding venues for our big day 1.5 years ago. My (now) husband and I contacted Joyce and had the most incredible experience working with her. Not only is she super detail-orientated and patient, she listens attentively and delivers on your vision. When planning a wedding, having a wedding planner behind you was one of the greatest investments we made. Joyce and her incredible team (i.e Chelsea on the day-of) relieved me of so many stresses and worries. I highly recommend this amazing wedding planner for your special day, not only is she great at her job, she has become a lasting friend! You will not regret your choice.
