We went horse riding with Juan Carlos and expert guide & horse maestro Efrain who took us through beautiful backcountry and along an empty beach. Amazing tacos pescado on the beach, beers and return along the beach at sunset. Efrain was a great, kind and knowledgable guide. Juan went above and beyond to make this the best experience of our trip. Can't thank them enough. Muchos gracias chicos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an incredible day working with this company! They were communicative, timely, and sweet. We saw so many dolphins and got to swim near them. We didn't see whales but near the end of the trip we saw some and the boat driver turned around to get us a better sight even though our time was up. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such an amazing tour! We really had a great time. Juan Carlos, our guide, was very nice, extremely friendly, spoke great english and was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed his company and he let us set the pace. We paddled through the mangroves, saw hundreds of birds, and got to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. Juan Carlos took a lot of photos of us as well as some really good video and sent them to us later that day which we greatly appreciated. This trip is one that we will surely remember for the rest of our lives, as kayaking through mangroves was a bucket list item, for me. I would highly recommend this tour and this company. The booking process was easy and their communication was excellent. We would definitely use this company again next time we are in Puerto Escondido. Thank you, Juan Carlos! And thank you, Eco Adventures!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I decided to book this horse riding experience last minute while we were in Puerto Escondido, and It quickly became one of our favorite moments from the trip. I usually don’t like to do these seemingly touristy things, but this one felt more like a local was just taking us along, much more personal, which was great.
The whole team was so kind and welcoming- Efrain was our guide and he was amazing and made us feel very comfortable with the horses. They brought snacks, beverages and extra hats (which we loved!).
Overall the whole experience was BEAUTIFUL, and I cannot recommend enough. We rode through different terrain, through a river and ended up at the beach for sunset (soooo beautiful) and drinks.
I will definitely be recommending this experience to everyone going and hope to do more tours with them.
Thank you to Efrain and team, you were all amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t recommend Eco adventures enough. We booked the whale watching tour and the turtle release while we were in Puerto Escondido and they were both brilliant.
On our whale watching tour we got to see 6 humpback whales, spotted dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and pilot whales. Our captain (I don’t know his name unfortunately) was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and really determined for us to see as much as possible. We were able to get in and swim next to some bottle nosed dolphins and even had a visit from 2 humpbacks while we were there.
On our turtle release we had Efrain as our guide who was again so knowledgeable and friendly. We were picked up and dropped off as part of the service. Both experiences were magical, I would highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing half day spent with our guide, Juan Carlos, in this amazing National Park. Its very beautiful and clean!
Juan speaks very good English and explains very well on the history of the place and knows a lot about birds. The mangroves experience was unexpectedly good, and the return trip in the night is one of the highlights for us.
We were lucky the weather was good, we had a good view of sunset from the rock top, clear sky for star gazing and the water was calm to see the luminescent color at night. Swimming at the surfer beach was a first time for us and we loved it.
Lastly, the food at the selected restaurant was good. Order the prawns or fish dishes. Its fresh and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a horse riding tour with Efrain and he was very helpful. We booked it last minute and he was able to arrange it with a local guide who took us on a ride along the beach for a few hours during sunset. This made for amazing pictures!
The tour it self is very freeing as you are given a lot of freedom on the horse. I myself had only done it a few times before and was allowed to gallop on my own.
The next time I find myself in Puerto Escondido I'll be sure to book another adventure with him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the morning kayaking tour, which was actually amazing. The landscapes we kayaked through were beautiful and varied, and we saw all sorts of wonderful birds. Our guide, Luis, was really knowledgeable and spoke great English, so was able to communicate a lot about the wildlife. I would highly recommend this tour.
