Beautiful and quiet place! If you love being close with nature the bungalows are great! No aircondition but you will not need one as there is always a brize coming from the lagoon. The food is exelent! Lots of vegeterian options, you should try the ceviche del lentejas! The stuff is very friendly and is always avilable if you need smt! We booked a standup paddle Trip with Iza, it was an amazing experience going on an Island and paddeling back into the Sunset! Defenitly ask for there tours, they have good prizes and will meet your wishes! Overall 10/10!

Wow, Casa Lamat is such a special place. When one needs a place to relax, get outside, and rejuvenate look no further than Casa Lamat Bacalar. They have everything a person or a group of friends need. The team at Case Lamat are first class. They arranged a memorable Hobie Cat excursion on the lagoon, Bacalar. Casa Lamat has two working Hobie Cats, sea kayaks, and paddle boards. Oh and a fun private pier to enjoy the lagoon. We highly recommend Casa Lamat.

Very good place with nice and friendly people. You can eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is very good. Our room was clean. We had a really good yogalesson by the lake.

We came here from a hotel down the street, almost every day. The food is amazing and the big table invites to meet other travelers. Make sure to also checkt out the free yoga sessions and their boat tours!

Wow, what an amazing, magical place! We actually had accommodation somewhere else & came to Casa Lamat for lunch one day & decided to stay here even though our other accommodation was already paid. That's how beautiful it is. The staff are so friendly & welcoming, the food is delicious, the sunrise yoga on the pier is magical, the massage is not to be missed & the catamaran tour was so relaxing. You can rent kayaks & paddle boards. We don't want to leave!

If you're looking for an eco-friendly beach bungalow vibe (but on a lake), look no further. This place delivers. Charming thatched roof cabins, lush tropical landscaping, hammocks a plenty, and steps away from the water. Bonus points for being very eco-conscious: from recycling to solar water heating to treating and reusing water.The food was delicious and vegetarian friendly, and the customer service was stellar, with extremely helpful and welcoming staff-- especially Itzel, who went out of her way to answer questions and accommodate requests. Shabi (the owner) is very sweet and funny. Don't miss his excellent and entertaining sunrise yoga class. The Catamaran tour of the lake with Marco was also great, but a word of warning, if you take the 3 pm tour in the winter season, the wind might die around 5:30 pm, and you could possibly be stuck out on the water for an hour or so in the dark, as we were (which was a little chilly and kind of unnerving). It wasn't anyone's fault, and Marco paddled us all the way back like a champ, but apparently the wind often dies around that time, so if you want to avoid any mishaps, take the 11am tour to be safe. All in all, great place to spend your time in Bacalar.

This hotel is beautiful, unique, and green. Don’t miss the sunsets on the hammocks. The food is delicious, authentic, and made by the very blessed hands of a cook. If you’re ever in Bacalar, go here! Skip the other places and come straight here!!
