★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wandered into this local hand-craft shoe store on a whim, and left with two pair of huaraches which we love. I have worn mine everywhere - city walks, dirt trails, cross-country drives and fancy restaurants. Totally comfortable, no sign of any wear. These are quality shoes. We regret not buying several more pairs for every need - sandals, loafers, boots, even gardening slip-ons, and will make a special trip to Sayulita and Ego Piel next time we travel to the area.
The store is small but jambed to the ceiling with thousands of styles. I got the impression that if they don't have your size they can make them quickly. The one guy in the store spoke 0 English, but no problem. Cash only. If you like shoes, go here.
