A lot of the "stores" have either similar items, or the exact same item so shop around and don't buy at the first place you stop at. If you are American or look American (as in my case) they will likely jack up the prices. Don't be afraid to haggle, at the end of the day they are interested in making a sale, and will work with you. Also, they accept dollars as well as pesos, just ask how much they're accepting dollars for. The going rate when I was there was between 17 and 18.50 (pesos) although some had the audacity to take it for 15 (we passed on those for obvious reasons). It does get HOT so be prepared for that and also the parking is a little of an adventure, so wear comfortable shoes.

S	Scott Peterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bucerias is a cool little town and for our first visit here we enjoyed the Centro area the most because it is cleaner than other areas of town. There are several restaurants and shops in the area and even a flea market to browse! The beach is beautiful and a lot of locals hang out there. We will definitely visit Bucerias again.
