Super close to the beach (5 blocks), coco bongo is 1 block away, the city walk with all restaurants stores is 2 blocks away.... I stayed 8 nights for $420.

Place is clean and price is ok, however we had a few unpleasant surprises: 1) they advertise having a deal with a beach club nearby. Truth is: they don't! The beach club "closed all of a sudden, by surprise", but they haven't taken the offer down from their website. 2) their room pictures show a kitchenette, and the descriptions suggest that all rooms may come with it (as is the case in other similar hotels in the area, such as El Acuario). However, not all rooms come with kitchenette, this varies on the price (which they don't explain) Neither of our rooms had kitchenette and when we asked why, there was no clear explanation, just some mumbling. 3) We booked 2 identical rooms, but one came with a king + twin, and the other with a king only. Strange variation that wasn't explained either. 4) their Wi-fi is just bad. It came and went at random times of the day, with some days working not at all. If you need it to be able to work, or plan a trip, do not rely on it. 5) For 2 days straight we didn't get towels. They just disappeared and weren't delivered until we insisted. Again no explanation, just some random confused excuse. I recommend telling the office to not do the daily cleaning or to never take your towels. Mine came back with a hair from my friend next door, so they may have mixed our used towels somehow. 6) the bells from the church will wake you up every day, not just on Sunday, but on Sunday they will play all day. (This was preferable to having the loud music from downtown, which we were happy to avoid by staying here.) Other than that, if you don't care about the bells and want a simple room with no kitchen, it's a nice hotel.

I have stayed her 4 times in the last 10 years and I really like that it's in walking distance to pretty much everything the rooms are clean and simple and it's a good price!
