El Chante Spa Hotel - 45825 Chantepec

I booked a reservation with El Chante over the phone but when we arrived the following morning, no one seemed to know that we were arriving and we were quoted a completely different price. After going forward with a 80 minute facial extraction - I left feeling like it wasn't worth the money. The facial therapist extracted my nose only and nowhere else on my face. That was the most important part of the extraction facial. She didn't even heat my face up with steam before extracting - There was just numerous of masks and creams put onto my face. I looked in the mirror afterwards and saw many things that needed to come out of my face that I was hoping to clean. I've been to numerous spas in the Ajijic and Jocotepec area that were 1/3 of the price and 5 stars. This spa is beautiful but I will not be back for any overpriced services. For the price I paid this should be a top of the line facial and that was what I was expecting. Disappointing.

This place is absoluty amazing! Everything is beatiful, everywhere you see, everything is nice. food is amazing! Tacos de Langosta is the best ! i love iT! services is amazing, they are always atending the table and cleaning everything aroung! ABSOLUTY BEAUTIFUL!

Oh my god!!!! I fell in love with this spa!!! Very, very great customer service! The service they provide, the peacefulness and quietness! The views! Everything overall was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing! I am definitely going back when i'm in the area! Oh and their passion fruit tea, is amazing!!

Good variety of spa treatments, nice ambiance. Downside, they have very very limited food menu, they are unable to assist you if anything is required from outside the hotel, the staff is not helpful and the matress and pillows are not good. Is a place to visit for a day, or a qquick massage, not to stay for the night.

Lovely place and staff is nice. Food menu is limited and the pool is a bit dirty. Before reserving the hotel I was told that the spa was open but the pool was closed. Once we arrived ot was the complete opposite. Spa is open on the weekends. No wifi. Day visit only if the spa is open I would suggest.

Restaurant service was very slow and food was served cold. There is no wifi at hotel, they need to look over their menus (lots of misspelled words in English) Also their jacuzzi is not that clean. The air conditioner in our room was not working and made a loud noise.

Being from America and going to a lot of spa’s, I will say that this is by far the best spa experience I have ever been too. The staff was professional, the place was clean, and the scenery was just absolutely amazing! The experience was well worth the money and the valet was super professional. I will be coming back and I will be bringing a lot of my friends to enjoy a real spa.

We living in Guadalajara, visited the place for my girlfriend birthday. Is really peaceful hotel, lovely rooms, very clean. Nice spa services. Amazing stuff. All good! I would love to give the 5 stars easo... But I am coffee lover... And the caffe they served me was like 2 out of 10. I asked for double espresso. And I got that joke from some kind of filter machine. Not even coffe itself was a problem, but the price. $100. I didn't even pay that price in London or Paris. Drinks are extremely overpriced. But food at least was beautiful and worth the price :) and yes. I would come back there , but I won't drink there ? in the price of orange juice I rather to take a massage.
