★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a home here for a month. It's family friendly, clean and safe. Great proximity to the beach. The only thing I didn't like is that much of the land in this subdivision has been further subdivided. This has left a mishmash of construction projects being done by several construction companies and developers. Many of these construction projects are unfinished and appear to have been abandoned. The construction companies leave huge piles of rubble at the construction sites that make parts of El Cielo Residencial look more like Havana than a beach community in Playa Del Carmen.

We head just down the road to Mayakoba for amazing golf.
Loads of walking paths where we spot coatis and monkeys!!
Very dog friendly too. Love it here.
