El Coral Restaurante & Bar - Playa las animas

Ok, where do I start? My wife and I love to travel, hey everyone has a hobbie ours just happens to be traveling. We have never been to a restaurant in Mexico or anywhere for that matter that is more accommodating to its guests. We ended up here 3 days in a row. I went fishing and caught some good mahi mahi, we brought it to El Coral and they fixed it for us in 3 different styles; filet al ajillo, fish tacos and ceviche peruvian style. The preparations were nothing short of amazing! This place has the most friendly staff in the area and their prices can't be beat! Make friends with the staff here you will not be disappointed they will pick you up from Boca De Tomatlan and take you back, no need to haggle with the other water taxi's. We didnt have an item of food here that we didnt absolutely love and the drinks can keep up with the quality of the food.

The food was wonderful, we had the cerviche and the gauacamole. The service was attentive and the setting amazing. We'll be back! This restaurant also offers showers and newly tiled changing rooms for the customers. Everything is perfectly clean. We went back yesterday and had the whole grilled Red Snapper; it was simply perfect.

El Coral has been my goto place when visiting Playa Las Animas. The food and bar drinks are wonderful. Service is excellent no matter how busy. Free WiFi and they accept credit cards. The chairs are very comfortable and the umbrella is professionally adjusted as the Sun changes position. Get a water taxi in Boca for about 220 pesos round trip. Will be back again...

We had a great afternoon here. The service was perfect, the food was amazing, and the drinks were great. Great guacamole and the fish cooked over the grill was absolutely a delight! The bathroom was clean too.

If you ever get a chance to go here don't pass it up. We were fishing and our guide took us here and they prepared our fresh catch. Freshest sushi I've ever eaten!
