★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my gosh, the food quality and the prices were amazing. Great quac, their specialty plate with poblanos and steak was the best I’ve had in a while. Mom and pop shop with both of them working the kitchen, so give it a little time, but the food is totally worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best tacos in Cozumel! They are tasty and the servings are plentiful. The margaritas are excellent. Martin and his wife are great chefs and hosts and appreciate every customer that comes to dine there. It is off the main road but easy walking from the square and so worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guys listen. If you are in Cozumel you have to come here. Order the el foco especial. Tons of meat and cheese on flour shell. Green is hot at el foco. Then sign the wall. Best tacos on the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, we tried the El Foco Taco Special and chicken Tacos and both had good flavor and spices.
House Margarita was good as well. We also enjoyed the Tortilla Chips which were very nice unlike the store brands/bars we get in US.
Now coming to the restaurant itself, we were initially reluctant to go inside as it looked like broken/unkept. They can definitely maintain the floor and sign boards etc better.
It looked like a family run restaurant and worth trying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is very friendly, however, the food is dissapointing. We got shrimp tacos which were very sad: only tortilla, shrimp, cheese, onion, very oily. No flavour whatsoever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a staple!! We have been coming here for several years. It’s a must-have whenever we are on the island. The tacos, margaritas and guacamole are some of the best on the island. Even better, the family that owns it makes you feel at home and as if you’re family friends. The service is top notch and everyone there is SO KIND. Also, we love Rigo!!!
