★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be a great place as they served incredible Italian food in tables on a boat over the marina but they had to close it and today they just attend over the ground offering regular overpriced dishes and the service for some reason become very impersonal and slow. Miss a lot the previous exquisite restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give this place no stars if I had the option. Let's start with the fact that they don't have a drink menu, it could be so they could stick it to you on the bill at the end. I have never gone to a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT and have them tell me they ran out of lobster or that they don't have lobster because they're fishermen didn't bring it in. Ok....? Other than the guy not knowing how to properly pour a beer into a glass I would not recommend this restaurant at all. For a poorly made margarita and one flat beer I paid 189 pesos. That is all I ordered because I couldn't get passed the fact that they didn't have lobster. I would say this is not a very pocket friendly restaurant.

AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD. It's a hidden gem by the marina. Worth looking for it. A MUST to go to when you are there. Lots of different delicious dishes. Better than the Italian restraunt next door with better prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our last evening out in beautiful Ixtapa, we ate at El Galeon. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Salads, lasagne, beef tenderloin, crepe desert were fabulous. The ambience by the marina was peaceful and our servers were great. We highly recommend this place, as we ate here two years ago and also had a good meal then, along with fabulous service. We will come again.
