El Lobo - 97367 Celestún

This place got off to a bad start with us even though we had low expectations going in. The server didn't know what a "Margarita rocas" was, then served them (a long time later) to the wrong table (we just accepted the blended ones they eventually brought us). They didn't have "camaron pizza" (really? in this town?), so we ordered arrachera instead. After all that we were pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. Crispy cracker crust, plenty of meat and cheese, and good flavor. If you're here for weeks as we were and need a break from ceviche and pescado frito this is a good choice.

Great, cosy place. We had breakfast here and it was delicious. The place is run by a young Duch man, who speaks good English so it is very welcoming to travelers. It is clean and the prices are affordable. Would recommend.

Went there on a Sunday right at 7pm. Service was amazing - attentive, helpful and very friendly. Out of the 3 restaurants I've been to in Celestun my friend and I definitely liked this one the most. The food came fast and was delicious (pizza mexicana and bananasplit / brownie for dessert). The atmosphere was nice, the view from the terrace at evening was amazing and a great place to enjoy the nightlife.

DON'T GO HERE! Food was okayisch, but verry long waits! Verry unfriendly staff!! If you have allergies most defenitly dont go, they say its okay and give it to you anyway? This place is a disgrace!!

So far have eaten Hawaiian Burger, which was tasty, Tacos with aranchera, bacon, cheese which are fantastic. my wife ate the bbq pizza and some pasta and said she loved both of them .

No recommendation, they absolutely did not deliver what was ordered. We went there tonight with four friends to eat. My friend is very allergic to milk and products containing milk (lactose intolerant). We asked at the entrance if it was possible to eat something there. It was they said. We asked when they took our order if the taco's were okay to eat for her. Order came, with mayonaise. We said that she couldn't eat it because of allergies, they brought ''new'' tacos for her 2min later. The mayonaise was just scraped off. Not okay if you have intolaranties. We asked for whole new tacos. Again, 2min later they brought it back. Looked okay, but it wasn't at all. She took 1 bite and felt something was wrong in her stomach. We looked closer and saw that the meat was cooked again, but the lettuce was re-used, WITH THE OLD MAYONAISE. This is not tolerated if you asked several times if it was okay and send it back multiple times. Side note: i asked for no pineapple on my burger, guess what, there was pineapple on my burger ? Please eat somewhere else if you want decent food and want your order to be perfect.

I had an underwhelming Mexican eggs with coffee there. The owner is nice, but the food and the coffee just wasn’t great, walked away hungry and dissatisfied. Maybe it’s a good place, but not for breakfast. Coffee comes WITH sugar, you need to point out if you want it WITHOUT when you order.

We had a great breakfast at this charming little place this morning. The staff was very welcoming. The coffee was good and the portion sizes were generous. We will likely eat here again before leaving town.
