★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small restaurant near the historic centre of Merida. You wouldn’t guess it is a great place and yet the food is fantastic: I tried the fish soup, the ceviche "mixto" (octopus and schrimp ceviche) and the fried shrimp tacos. Truly delicious. The overall atmosphere is also typical as there were many locals eating there. Service was also great: the waiter told us they could make more tacos although it wasn’t initially in their plan. A great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent fresh fish dishes. Delicious agua frescas. Awesome naranja agria and habañero salsa. Wonderful, welcoming staff. We went 2 times and would have gone more if we stayed longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great unpretentious local place. I ate here many times and it was excellent each time. Good value for the money as well. Fast service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant near the city center. Really good service ! We asked for tacos which were not on the menu and the waiter agreed with the kitchen to make us fish tacos ! This place is mostly known for their ceviches which are simply on point !! We shared the mixt large ceviche and it was amazing! Definitely worth a quick stop here !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let the hole in the wall environment fool you, the food was very fresh. It's in a great location too, close to El Centro

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tostadas de pulpo were FANTASTIC. I’ve been dreaming of them since I ate them. We also ordered the ceviche de camarón and while it was good, it didn’t stand out. This was the first restaurant we ate at when we got to Mérida. We are still here and plan to go again tomorrow to get more tostadas de pulpo and to try their atún and marlin. Definitely try this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little seafood restaurant, not pretending to be something it is not. Food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Don't get fooled by the visual side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little local seafood restaurant near the main plaza. Fresh ingredients and good prices. Their tostadas de pulpos take a while to be cooked (I waited for 20+ minutes) but they are amazing!! I will definitely go back for it.
