The view of the nearby archaeology site is really breathtaking. We had the Mexican delicacy which is essentially ant eggs that are fried in butter and tequila or mezcal. It was very good and when combined with the view it was a deep cultural experience. Highly suggest this for guides and travellers looking to connect further with CDMX.

Sure the best way to explore the ruins of Templor Mayor. From the Terrace above and with a cool Sangria in your hand.

Great spot for breakfast with a view of the old ruins. You enter through a bookstore on the first floor, then take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Although we didn't have reservations, I'm glad they accommodated us. I ordered the scrambled eggs Mexican style with a Chai Latte, while my boyfriend had the Molletes with Chilaquiles. I was satisfied with my order.

We sat on an open terrace with arguably the most spectacular view I've ever had at a restaurant. You could see the ruins below, and the Plaza de la Constitución. While it was immensely crowded outside, we were able to get a table with no wait. The servers were quick and accommodating, and very patient with us as we stumbled through the menu in broken Spanish. Everyone that could speak any English was eager to help and translate. I'll be honest though, the food was just ok. We got duck tacos (a decent and safe option), a salad with fried crickets and cactus (interesting, but not extraordinary), salted beef (which, not surprisingly was too salty) and ceviche. The last item was pretty good though! I think I was expecting finer cuisine based on the location and decor. But, still its such a lovely place I'd actually go back.

Food was really good. They have a huge menu, they have all kind of food. I’d definitely recommend this place if you don’t know what to eat or you want good views. The service is amazing. I asked for enmoladas they are really good. The fish in salt wasn’t really good. Flavor too strong.

Good spot to watch the sunset at the end of a long day. The dark beer (obscura) was quite good and we enjoyed the chips and guacamole. Service was rather quick.

Excellent service, you have a waiter and a team taking care of your party. The food was yummy. The little bolillo seemed freshly made, great drinks too! The view is great you can see the ruins and some of the palace in the back. Lovely place. I will say that the place is a little bit higher end so For 3 of us it was about 2k pesos. In my opinion, worth it!

Tacos are ok (minus the tuna taco). It’s a shame the chocolate lava cake takes 30 minutes to prep. Also because you’re seated outdoors, food tends to cool much quicker. Great rooftop view though!
