Wear shoes or take off your sandals. Steps are steep, take it slow and you'll be fine. Views are great, break from mosquitoes is even better :)

If you want to see some Mayan Ruins but you want to avoid the tourists this is the place to go. Bring plenty of water, sun screen and mosquito repellent.

Though the tower steps are rather steep, the view from the top is truly outstanding. Very serene experience. Take advantage of the cellular service from the top to share with friends afar. $50mx to enter the trail from Muyil ruins. This is in addition to the Muyil entry charge.

50 Pesos to enter and use the tower. If you go through the Mayan ruins, another 45 Pesos for the archeological park. The tower is tall with steep stairs but the view is great.

This is review for everything: from entering to Archeological zone to sendero, mirador and offered tours. I find it not worth coming here if you are not going to take boat tour, which includes 45 minute swim down the channel in the lagoons. We didn't do it as it was too expensive (1000 pesos per person). The rest is just jungle, there is archeological site (if you are interested in history, this part is nice). Pathway to the lagoon is just jungle with nothing special to see and the viewpoint is okeish but keep in mind it might be scary to climb if you are coward like I am :). All and all for me it was waste of time since we decided not to take boat tour.

The tower ladders are very steep, so climb carefully, but I definitely recommend it for the incredible views of the canopy layers and the forest from the top.
